Yo, man... gotta say, if it helps at all, we all think you're awesome and I believe your story has been extremely inspiring so far. Five years... that must have been really hard. I suffer from crippling depression, suicidal thoughts, adhd, ocd, anxiety, chronic migraines, insomnia, and I even got into two car crashes that actually were the main reasons for having a lot of these. I think the only one I really truly had bad before then were my chronic migraines because I got them from my father's side of the family, they just got worse after the concussion thanks to the second car crash. I got bullied a lot and still get made fun of and teased at school about a lot of stupid stuff like the fact that I have all of these things and that I'm in fandoms like Undertale, Mlp, and RWBY. I walk into a classroom and kids use me as a spitball target in Math and not only that, in the same class that's where the RWBY bullying started... I'm still pretty young, I mean I'm a teen now and I'm honestly surprised at how much time has passed, and even though stress and frustration is expected as you get older it's still hard whether anyone goes through/has any of this or not. You can't just "go life alone" and if I keep trying to do that, I'll keep failing and falling apart on myself. I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for my trust in God and support from family and actually good supportive friends who I can or at least should be able to trust. I can't even begin to imagine going through both anxiety _AND_ depression for five years without having your family knowing and there to support you 24/7 when you need them... I truly do think you're a cool guy and pretty inspiring, not just 'cause of your awesome talents but because of your story and how strong you are, being able to push through each day... I'm not saying that it's good to tell people that the best option for them when they're depressed is to keep it to themselves, I just feel really happy that all this art and animation was inspired by _one_ remix, _one_ remix inspired by an extremely important story related to the creator. I feel it's important to be willing to open up to subscribers. While some things should stay personal and other times people have to be careful not to let it get to their heads so it becomes something the artists do just to get attention, it's still really good for them to realize that they are human just as much as the viewers are, and even they will need someone to help them get through stuff and someone to vent to when something is going on. I'll be praying for you and even your mom, buddy. I'm really happy you got to talk to her about it.

I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but: This song means so much to me; It always makes me so overwhelmingly happy, I cry every time I listen! And this remix +the description + the lyrics makes those happy tears flow even harder. I’ve been struggling with my mental health for so many years and Splatoon has honestly helped me through it! Thank you for making this and for that description! You’ve made me feel way less alone and this song brings me such joy! I just wish I had found it sooner! Thank you so much! I love the part where Marina said "if you're lost, here's a redo". It just really speaks to me and encourages me. And I've had anxiety for years and I've always had Panic attacks and such, I just didn't realize it when I was younger. I only realized recently because my mom told me that's what had happened that day. That's when I realized that I've been having anxiety attacks. The only thing I knew before that is that I've always had anxiety. I also have depression, and it's gotten worse and worse recently but it was always quite minor, until again, recently. So just know that a lot of us understand and we support you fully :) those who don't understand, still support you too.

i like how theres actual lyrics to the song, but it can also sounds like the inkling talk, so it can be intrepted different ways. the lyric "If your lost, here's a redo," it sounds like to me "if your lost, here's a reboot/review" or "hangin' by the wall or dancin' with me." i hear "hangin' by the water, then serenity." it's cool and i like it

I read the description. And I am in the very same situation right now; moving in circles, not knowing what to even do. Although for me it's not with making music, but writing and drawing instead, so I gotta take the problem from another perspective. But I really like these lyrics and what they represent, so I'm gonna take these with me as a guide to lead me back to happiness. I especially dig the part of the place I'm used to leaving me all alone, that it just cannot offer me something new that I might need. Just hope I can put up the strength to actually head for a new destination...
