City of color didn’t get a bad remix. This did please change it

Ngl i feel like having both versions is super nice. Like imagine someone animation og Color Pulse and then using this as the "end title" song, or if that person has a behind the scenes to the video they use this

I like that we have now a "punchy version" and a "chill version"

I think that the reason why this version of Color Pulse is so calm is because it plays during the first half. Usually the second half is more energetic (at least in Splatsville). We’re So Back is way more energetic than this.

Honestly the more i listen to it the more i like it It was the same with the new city of color

Yea but I think city of color tried to maintain the vibe of the original while making the synths and instrumentation more modern and added new harmonies in the chorus Color pulse feels like there are a lot of unnecessary changes that don’t add anything. I’ve seen enough fanmade remixes of color pulse on Twitter that make the remix add just the right amount of changes to keep it feeling modern while maintaining the appeal of the original that I don’t think the official remix did

I understand the criticism of the rework, but come on... its not that bad. The instrumentation in my eyes is less a loss of energy, and more that same energy being put into a different perspective. (I sound like a damn nerd)

i do think most of it is just Eh and pearl’s vocals aren’t too good but the chorus section is pretty good i thinks

A lot of people keep yapping about how bad it is, but the calm vibe is really nice to draw to or sleep to imo

I prefer 100% the original versión. This one's too calm and relaxed. It feels like Pearl's voice actor was about to fall asleep.

they got rid of the weewooowowoow part during marinas part near the end I was so ready for it to come back💀

I really like this version actually, it has grown on me :)

i like this remix but i dont think it works in a splatfest environment. not enough hype

I'm kinda mixed on this. To get it out of the way, Pearls Vocals are WAY worse. I feel like Pearl's vocals were really "punchy" in the original, they felt SHARP, y'know? Now they feel more... soft. The same can kinda be said about the percussion - it feels much weaker now. However I prefer the mixing of just about everything else way more - the rest of the instrumental just makes me feel way more than the original. I don't really know which one I like more, but I was never much of a Color Pulse fan in the first place so not a huge loss for me personally

Nintendo CAN make a good remake, look at City of Color 23. It’s different but catchy and respects the og instrumental and vocals. I’m sorry but Color Pulse 24 is straight ass especially pearl’s part

I was personally never a huge fan of the original Color Pulse;I think it is just ok. But in my opinion the the 2024 version is worse.

I actually really like the new vocals but they should make it less chill
