When they started dancing on their porch my heart actually leapt with joy and I thought this is how you live; this is how we should all be living ! They are not just in touch with nature ,but with each other and their tiny shipping container home just completes this perfect circle of being ! We should not envy them, but be inspired !

I immediately thought of Appalachian families who lived in the hollows and would play instruments and dance on their front porches. We've lost the art of living and some folks are rediscovering it.

These are the type of people that inspire me. Thanks for showing this beautiful off grid homestead to us. It seams almost every tiny house owner Brice interviews are so much happier and kinder than average people.

That house achieved the full circle of 2020. Living small and charging your electric car.

It's not that difficult in subtropical areas. "In winter, maximum temperatures vary between 13 °C and 19 °C, while minima vary between 6 °C and 11 °C", and I suspect they also see sun for most of the winter. No real need for heating, and most importantly they don't need to store electricity to survive through the winter darkness. Just some reserve for a car charge and a rainy day (literally). Heaven on Earth, indeed.

I thank them for their courage to open up their house and life to us. I recognize the introvert and shyness in them. Your house and lifestyle are an inspiration.

Bryce does such a good job coaxing and encouraging people. He brings good energy and positivity for people that are not accustomed to being in the spotlight.

This is the dream life, living far away from all the people, beautiful view, a little nice house... just calmness, happiness...

This has to be the nicest house on this channel yet. What an utterly beautiful place and the car charging is just the cherry on top. You would never get me off that verandah. What a lovely couple

this is probably the best use of a shipping container I have seen. just enough space to live in with a large beautiful landscape. You can't get better than that.

The soft talking is the result of living away from the city and being close to nature. It just takes the stress out of you and gives you so much perspective about life. The house has a nice echo to it that is just really soothing.

Actually I think its cultural - I've been fortunate to have visited Switzerland a couple of times - I found the people, in the main, to be very courteous, measured and calm. Also they have a great appreciation of their own beautiful environment.

The ballroom dancing really warmed my heart And WOW the organisation of their garden!! The bird’s eye shot where you see all the circles is amazing, there’s no way I’d be able to maintain such a crisp geometry it’s so impressive. Awesome episode as usual :)

They are really perfect to each other, both are very tall and also soft spoken. And even they have the same hobby, dance. I love their garden so much. No wonder they have so many tools for gardening. They really take it seriously.

I've been watching this channel for awhile, never felt moved to comment before. Everything about this was wonderful, especially her repeated delight with their newly-claimed freedom: inspiring! I'm so happy for them to be living their dream. It's possible for all of us. Even if you can't buy or build a tiny home yet, you can still take steps to be free. I moved from a harsh climate to the Caribbean and am still renting but I am so much more free, and warm, I'm living my dream one step at a time!

My heart feels so warm and happy right now! What a wonderful couple and an amazing home! Loved it when they danced together, that just melted my heart! Absolutely a great inspiration in so many ways! Thank you again Bryce and Rasa for catching all this for us

So impressed with this couple. Their house functions for them, it simple but lovely and I love that they are totally off grid, and charging a car to boot! I love where they have their home, so lovely the view is and gardens. But when they started dancing on the porch, I thought that is the life!

What a beautiful, beautiful couple! You can see how connected they are to each other and the land that surrounds them. You can see the care for all that is around them. And, dancers after my own heart, how can you not love them!

Now, this is what an "Off-the-grid-home" should mean, the car runs on solar. Hats off to this beautiful family. The water tank is also intelligently placed. Living with nature. Good job Annina and Pascal. Good job Bryce Langston

Okay, I'm a convert. I've never been a big fan of shipping container tiny homes, but this is beautiful. Also love the solar and water systems.

No AC and not using electric cooking which is why that size of a solar system was able to have the overhead to power the car. Metal container with enough sun to power it all, and lightly insulated... definitely going to be warm in summer. I suspect they paid more for the land than the rest of it all together.

@@FeelItRising They said they have an oven, and can use it "on bright days." It really is a small array for full time -- I have seen larger arrays on RVs. But solar is expensive there, I believe.

This is such a beautiful house, garden, and couple . The philosophy and minimal aesthetic of the Sustainability Movement is inherent in the design yet done so artistically. Thought the garden layout was brilliant, enjoyable to view during every season. The deck was perfect in size and added so much character to the home (mimicking it's design on the back between house and shed). Thanks for checking all the boxes and more in this episode!

Very inspiring and giving an example for what is possible off grid! Wish we had a similar property and could build our long planned off grid shipping container home. Thanks for letting us see your nice home!

Impressive home, impressive people. This couple has created a brilliant setup for themselves and an inspiration for others.

Better than seeing the home and the property is seeing such a lovely couple, they truly are made for each other, there seems to be much love for one another. Beautiful property.

Bryce reminds be of Brandon of Humans of New York, they both just bring out the best in people. Also, all these people with these tiny homes are so down to earth and generous. I think living with only what is necessary makes you like that!

I absolutely love how they made sure to have a space to dance in! I am the same way! My delivered shed building is 12' wide from eave to eave, but it is 32' long on the interior and I am making sure that when it is finished I will be able to dance from one end to the other !

What an incredible location! I LOVE that they dance on their balcony :-) I love that this is a step up in luxury from previously living in a tent! Love all the solar panels, the kitchen/dining/work bench, the container for all the 'stuff', the ability to charge the car, the garden. All so great. Would love to know what they did to insulate the container.

Wow! That's a dream..10 acres of nature 😍

That is brilliant for just the two of them. And if they want a child they could enclose half the dance floor or annex the garage. Not everyone feels the need for children and that's perfectly fine too.

What a lovely couple. I love their home. Thank you for all you do bryce showing us all these wonderful tiny houses.

It looks like they insulated the container really well and I like the cleaness of the smooth wooden walls, the symmetrical garden is gorgeous too

these folks have the right idea.

As to why I love living away from the city away from so many people and having lots of privacy and space. Especially with what’s going on currently.
