Dang, they are master mechanics. Heck, it takes me 4 hours to do anything to my cbr 1000. Haha
I would be absolutely nervous as well.. Great Job covering all the important points as best as possible, along with actually getting hands on with the right composure to not get in the way of the mechanics. Appreciate the mechanics' patience as well. Wish I get a chance like this. Well done!
Been watching the clock in the background, they started around 11:05 and finished it at 13:05 :) Worth noticing!

Thank you for that great video! That's exactly what I love about MotoGP - it's so transparent, it's so about the people.
full of courtesy when directing the cameraman .... I am amazed by your attitude...keep it up Mr Host ...Salute..
Really enjoyed this, its a whole new level from my bike maintenance videos! Looking forward to moto GP this year, hope I get to see a bike up close in Silverstone!
The quality of that aluminum frame, the welds, the rolls and machining, amazing.
I'm not a biker, so my interest is purely an appreciation of the art and mechanical engineering. It had never really occurred to me before, but just like a lot of car racing series, the race machine bears little resemblance to its road-going cousin. It's impressive to see just how bespoke for racing these machines are. It seems there's very little carry-over between road and race.
awesome, never knew that they are sitting on the tank.

Thank you for this wonderful video. Don't listen to all the bad comments about Gray, he did a pretty good job! Italian is my motherlanguage and I was glad he put an effort on pronouncing the mechanics' names correctly. I prefer him (humble, respectful and a little bit scared) as a host than any other arrogant "I know everything" and disrispectful one. Well done!

That's genius using the rear brake caliper to hold the wheel in the perfect spot for the axle.
I have never seen any good video about Super sport bike buildings like this video. Good job guys. From the MC, Cameramen to the two mechanics. I love this type of making bike video. Please making more of it. Thank you so much.
Wow thank you for this video that I know how the motoGP is made. Plus Aprilia is one of my favourite team. I love it. Please make more clip like this.

This Moto GP is awesome I love the engineering of a bike build
I love working with italians, they are like best friends to you, even when you don't know them. A funny joke here and there, but when it's working time, they really put in the full power. The Italians helped us to build our land, Im from swiss. :)
Nice video, thanks!
It's that time of year!
Would've been nice to see a technical discussion about the engine components and the kind of information being collected by the electronic system(s).

+Urban Chaos 2.0 They wont do that, its a huge secret when it comes to the details of how everything works, if they put out all their information where everyone can see it, the other teams, the competition, will be able to implement or improve on their design and get ahead of them so Aprilla would lose whatever edge they have. Notice when they were putting in the air box he said they couldn't film what it looks like from above, because they dont want to reveal anything to the public. Same in any racing event... well the more professional racing events anyway. Seems silly because the bikes are so close in performance, but anything to get ahead
@gazmtg
8 жыл бұрын
+-Project Xfire- It's not silly because when the bikes do perform so closely that when you research and can make a change within the rules that gives you even a minuscule increase in performance it gives you a genuine edge. 0.01 of a second a lap still makes up for 0.4s in a 40 lap race. Doesn't sound like much ? Remember those races where there has been 0.2s between 1st and 2nd place ? the team with the competitive advantage won out.

those 2 mechanics are dead serious about their job!! thanks for the inside look !
Good job!

Awesome bro u did it well
perfect job
Muito muito bom mesmo !!!! Além da moto ser linda, toda a montagem lindo de mais !!!!
Love the engineering marvel behind these bikes.
very interesting thanks
Most interesting, for me? The electric/sensor/plumbing with all the plugs/quick connects. That is slick as hell. I thought I was ready for racing when I used Dzus fasteners on my bodywork! The frame bolts all look reduced in size and special machined, too. They can flip out any component of the cycle in minutes. Shape and size of the fuel tank was new to me!

This guy has the best job in the world! Damn I'm jealous!🤢😃😃👍
I have Apprilia too, it is similar to this, 300 ccm scooter, very similar performance too.
Tank you
Amazing
this is surprising me. some said to me, to position intake to the front was difficult, as it can mess with exhaust, radiator and tank. but it change position with fuel tank, and fuel tank should put in the center. great video, thank you.
Thank you* I am sooo inspired. I already engineer all of that on pocket bikes; they are entirely similar to this. 125CC
