@Alex the old top gear was more fun to watch even if you know nothing about cars, and it was more creative, Clarkson's comments was a big thing in top gear, James May's character made it even better, and just look at the moments of the old 3 guys and how it made top gear such a great cars show, the new one is like any other boring cars show

we all knew who was going to win, didn't we? A car is a box on four wheels, it can never take as much beating as a bike while going off-road. Bikes are just light and have way less parts and components in them compared to a car.

Ive ridden the Triumph bonneville T120... its like an SUV, big heavy comfortable, very easy throttle response, soft suspension To see a very similar bike offroad is pretty amazing, especially this quick!

Top gear is such a joke all the presenters are trying so hard to be as good as the original

Autocar's near identical test (earlier this week) between the same Triumph Scrambler but vs the Aerial Nomad (around a similar course) put just a cigarette paper between both vehicles in their "quick lap" test - so I would guess (without watching the video) that (lovely though it is) the Jimny came a distant 2nd.

Cant get the staff these days. Thats those in front as well as behind the camera.

For there to be any chance to have that be competitive, they would have had to use a 1980s 80cc dirt bike, and the kid on the 80cc would have probably still blown him away, but at least it would have been not just stupid.

Now the question! Could a Ford Raptor with a Hennesy kit beat the bike? Maybe a Subaru STI again with a bunch of extra horsepower?

🤣 Here in our country we use scooters and sedans on that kind of roads. So, are we off roaders then?

The only way that would of been close was if the 4x4 said 'Bowler wildcat' on the back. Then i'd think the bike would worry.
