So many huge bolders to move, but the patio will be wonderful. I forgot to say last time, what beautiful new chickens you have added to the flock. They all seem to be getting along. Guffy makes me laugh. He has so much fun with the tractor. We look forward to seeing him so happy. The kittens are such mischief makers and fun to watch, too. Take good care of each other and the animals. Try to work in the cool mornings or late evening. No sense getting heat stroke. Or having your back give out. Sending good thoughts for cool weather ~ 💖🤗Lacy, Mike & Hamish🐾 PS. Very thoughtful to mow your neighbors grass. You two are good and kind.

@@portugalitis Perhaps during the right time of the year, purchasing a few trees for shading different areas, like near the greenhouse, the chicken enclosure, the house, and other outdoor areas. It's just an idea and it can't hurt to have more shade during the summer. ☺ XOXO ~ Lacy

Definitely ... olives provides the best shade ... by the green house and chickens we got stone oaks so they provide plenty shade !!! that's why we done chicken coop there we though in advance ;) G

I was worried about your back the whole time. So sorry to know that it is hurting. I have had many back surgeries and wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Fortunately I have the best surgeon in GA, he gave me my life back. Please take care with those heavy boulders! I want to see this completed!!!😊

Just finished watching your video, please take care of your backs, I have had 3 back surgeries & as I am. 77 I wish I had been more careful when I was younger, stretch those muscles before you begin that helps just a little advice from an old farm lady, lol. The kitten was so cute attacking the tarp. Wishing you both a productive blessed week. Your place is looking great.

Your plants are so healthy looking. You really know how to grow good plants. My dad had a talent for growing but I haven’t inherited his skill. I grow veggies but they never seem to do as well.😅 Your home is beginning to look really pretty with its stone work.

Wow, you peaches are already huge. Ours don't get enough sun so we'll be lucky if they get to be the size of golfballs by end of July/begin of August. It's great that you went to remow your neighbor's grass. With all the rain you keep getting, it could soon look like it hadn't been cut. Good on you. Love the garden views, uodates, harvesting 😍. Incredible work with those stones. If you take a few days to let your muscles knit back together, that's smart! Stay healthy, lovely couple 😉

I DID notice and should've said so before! I am so proud of you for protecting your important toes and delicate eyes and precious hands. 🤗🥰😍 If you also ever wear a mask (not bandana) like N95 or respirator to protect your lungs from taking in fine particles* that stick to the linings of the membranes of your lungs and make your 50s, 60s, 70s etc hellish to breathe, you are gonna win my prize for most consistent & correct use of PPE despite the blazing portuguese summer heat. Srsly, i will think of an appropriate prize you will love and bring it to you whenever i am blessed to visit Centro! *Fine particles from: rock busting dumping gravel using jackhammer strimming or mowing dust storms from Sahara, chickens smoke from fires, cigarettes🧐 If he could, Nick of Project Portugal said he would've never smoked and would've always masked at work during his building career. Only mentioning this with admiration for you after damaging my own lungs from mold i didn't know was hiding behind the toilet tank in my former apartment bc the bathroom had no vent + years of previous tenants showering without opening the window and the ijjit landlord never addressing the visible mildew which i killed whenever i found any 🤬.

When you use the waterlevel make sure the plugs are off otherwise it wont work!
