    FWIW while that's true the bench is the 2nd lift of the day and the rest between is pretty fucking big. I don't think Kaz would have had more than an extra 10-15.

    Maddox added 31lb to the raw world record in about six months. To put that in perspective, James Henderson hit 705 raw and it took another 20 years for Kirill to hit 739. To put it another way, Maddox going from 740 to 800 (and I believe he had the 800 w/o the misload) is taking his own record up in the span of ONE YEAR by the same gap that goes from Kirill's 739 all the way to Ted Goddamn Arcidi in 1985 hitting 680, WITH an early bench shirt. 5-10 years ago people genuinely thought 750 raw was the human limit, and Maddox is ready to beat that by 50lb.

  • @joshuamages2457
    @joshuamages24573 жыл бұрын

    Does it really make sense the more people weigh the heavier they can lift? It make sense to the a very small degree but how effective can body fat be when benching? Another question if someone is much stronger than you at bench press and also heavier would they be equal or weaker than you if they were the same weight? Or if you were to gain the weight that they did would you be able to lift their bench press max? It seems just a tad bit retarded to be judging the lift, especially at these weights by their weight.
