We've got a wild trail breaking beast on our hands. The Rokon is going to help us cut in trail with a smile on our face. This little machine is crazy capable and fun to ride.

Good call on that trail tool. I think someone's dad is just as excited about this land project 😊
Dude, your Dad is definitely one of the good ones, has the know how to make or take care of just about anything, that trailer he made you is really great. Oh and that bike, never heard of it before, but it's definitely cool and should help you plan and build Everstoke.

I could see the use of a small trailer for a whole elk or your camp supplies, what are your thoughts 💭?
Brian your father is a real shredder
"See ya on the trail", needs to be a name for a section of your trail system! Looks like a a great place to ride. Thanks, and keep up the great work!
Your Dad is Awesome! He rode the trails on that thing like a beast. Love the new “tool”. Seems like so much fun.
It's great to see you and your father spending time together! One bit of advice from an old head. TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN FROM YOUR FATHER. My dad could do just about anything, and I REALLY wish I would have paid more attention through the years, so that I would have more of those skills. I lost him in December to COVID 19, and it's a void that will never be filled. He had three tractors, and I don't know how to use a tractor, which is pretty well inexcusable. He built two houses from the ground up, and I can barely nail two boards together. Cherish the moments, and really learn from his wisdom.

You’re right about getting skills now. My father just died, he knew tons of how to do things. He knew to do just about anything. I inherited most everything including the Rokon, I know it will feel weird for a little bit because I’m used to riding a dirtbike.

The Rokon has been so great to help build trails. I love that thing
A used utility 4-wheeler wouldn't be too bad. It would be as wide as that dump trailer. You can also seat two people. That's a cool bike too!
I love how supportive and gung-ho your dad is about this adventure. I hope to be that great of a father some day. Awesome video. Super stoked for more
Our local MTB group has a Rokon. It is great for trail maintenance days.

whats the name of your MTB group? mine is looking into buying one. any reliability issues?
Rokon is the answer for singletrack maintenance! Great stuff!
Nice that you get the whole Rokon concept. Lots of naysayers who love to badmouth them that don’t know what they’re talking about. There are a lot of people who love them. Big rub is the price but made in the USA and fills a unique niche market. Worth it in my view as they are useful and a lot of fun.
Pops having a blast!!!! That so cool.
A few weeks ago - "Let me build these trail..." Today - "Let me destroy these trials with this motor bike..." lol
That’s awesome. Didn’t even know it existed, definitely adding it to my trail building wish list.
I have the 2003 edition of the Trailbreaker, total beast. The slow speed and capability is the appeal of the Rokon. The Rokon really doesn't need an established trail, allowing one to Tread Lightly. I like going differently every time I go out.
This video was more exciting than usual, I hope to see this thing in action yeahhhhh!!!!
Amazing footage, exactly what i was looking for
Very cool video; thanks for posting. My hands broke out in a sweat several times when you were driving through the trees.
Brian, really great to meet your dad! I see now where you get your enthusiasm and positivity.
Man Toy Heaven...Brian your MTB videos always make nervous waiting for the wipe out. But watching you ride the Rokon...Oh My, that was fun.
Brian your dad is one cool dude!!!! Enjoy the bike be safe!
That thing is super cool!
Those are some beautiful woods
That Rokon looks really fun to ride, seems like it'll be a huge help at Everstoke. Love the content my man 👍
That is a cool bike, not seen one before. It looks to be a great addition to help your trail building.
That’s such a sick bike/trailer setup. I’m in love
ROKON is almost as old as me. Definitely cool stuff. I love things you can fix with a pair of pliers, a screw driver and a crescent wrench. This machine is definitely built to last. Many accessories available from the company. They even make a trailer designed specifically for pulling behind this machine.
I love my Rokon. You will not be disappointed.
Good video.
Ed used one to take supplies to his gold mine. Very cool restoration can be seen at Bikes and Beards channel.

awesome my friendddddd
They’re made right down the street from me. 🤘
That east side trail is a climb!
Drag an old tractor tire or semi truck tire to smooth your dirt trails. We used to use a large backhoe tire to fill the tire ruts and smooth everything on a single lane community dirt road. Worked great.
This is awesome makes me want to rig a little dump trailer like that for my dirtbike for deer hinting the sierras
I picked up a Rokon Ranger from Ron at Shadow Mountain about 4 months ago. He is a great guy. Love my Rokon. It climbs hills I would not attempt on my old Honda 400.
Your Dad is just amazing 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Seth should come out soon!
i've never seen your dad so excited. lol.
I’m sure I don’t have to tell you but your Dad is freakin awesome. Congrats on the Rokon……..I’m sure it will serve you well. 🇺🇸
BKXC moto content! I love it! Hang in there - you'll get it.
That crafty little trailer needs to find some good takeoffs from a side by side. With a set of adapter hubs you could probably get it to sit about level with the bigger tires. And then a seatbelt for when you are towing each other around. haha
Nice Lawnmower
Incredible new toy! Lots of utvs, 4 wheelers, and even mini excavators, but now we get a Rokon.
Papa bkxc is loving this stuff
Pops is crazy 😜
Dude that thing is amazing. As a bloke who grew up riding dirt bikes I’d be standing up on that thing for the tough stuff and inclines (not sure if you were or not already). Hang on tight and adjust your weight front or back as need be. Sorry if you were already doing that. That trailer is pretty awesome. My concern is the mattock the way it’s positioned and the handle of the tools may rub on the tyre with a heavy load and the tyres compressed.
😂😂 ur dad is a hoot! U should check out Matt’s Off-Road Recovery KZread channel. They refurbished a super old Rokon for a guy there. Super interesting! Loving the vids as always!
Nice
Love the Rokon! I have looked into getting one of these. I use a dirtbike, with light throttle control, to groom the trails at our ranch but I wish I had fat tires for less passes. There are single wheel trailers that could haul dirt. I’ve used single wheel WeeHoo 2 seater trailer pulled by eBike to haul 2 5-gallon buckets of water around the trails. The trick is getting the buckets off the trailer without tipping the bike 🤣

... every winter the freeze/thaw cycle tends to reclaim the trails or make them raise up and slower, several slower dirt bike passes each spring and then a rain storm and the trails are perfect! With Rokon size tires, it would only take one pass to smash down the freeze/thaw effects and hoofs
I went down the Rokon rabbit hole a few years ago... one day I will own one...
Need to put some Chester pedals on that thing! Fun! Try to find an articulating hitch like they use for overlanding.
Legend :)
Lower the tire pressure it will smooth the ride out and get better traction.
Hey, we have the same glasses!
At first thought had ridden trails with a motorcycle and didn't understand what your problem was. Then I hear mountain bike. Yeah the Rokon is much different and even enough different than a trail motorcycle. By now I bet you got the hang of it.
I think after you dump the bike a couple times with the trailer attached, you'll realize that a 4 wheeler would have been a little easier. They're pretty good off road. Plus you'd need width for the trailer anyway...

Agreed on stability. Currently the trails aren’t wide enough, and I bet those ones will stay narrow and only use the Rokon. My bet is the trailer is to generally move tools on his access road and perhaps an access trail or some wider flow trails but not all trails. Motorbike is one my favorite tools on the trails at our ranch, it breaks down animal hoofs or helps wear in new trail. We also have mounts for tools on our dirtbikes. I wish I had a Rokon though!

No way man. Quads really don’t work for building advanced single track. My best family friends own a 275 acre mtb ranch (has about 36 gnar trails, full enduro moto loop, and XC trails). It’s a couple hours from BKXC’s property in Blairsden. All of us ride enduro dirt bikes, or smaller dirt bikes like XR100s. Just need a light arborist chainsaw for daily regular tree work.

I'll disagree, that machine will go places you'll never think about taking a four wheeler. You have to be in shape and the learning curve is not just getting on and riding it, it's learning the characteristics of two wheel drive

You've never been real off roading in hard terrain on a quad I see....
Loving the gun rack every bike needs a gun rack. In PA i can ride anywhere with the 06 on the bars, love it.
for quick runs on the property down the trails you should check out a Kaabo Wolf Warrior its all electric still 2wd but much more nimble at 103lbs. I have one and take it on single track mountain bike trails all the time and have yet to find somewhere I could not go with it.
OK, now you are straight up collecting toys. I am envious.
Now you need to get the Roxor Jeep and you will have the best of both worlds
Couple days late, I would source a drop hitch adaptor for the trailer till you figure out a bigger tire/more permanent solution. Cool looking machine!
nice Rokon cycle catch #RokonRangers
I would be willing to come up w a couple trials motorcycles to scout/blaze trails with you guys. Much more agile than a rockon..
Good find. I'm happy for your dad. I'm surprised that ROKON's aren't illegal in California?
Brian's new toy!
Brian upload ur wedding video
How's the smoke up north where your at from Tahoe? Looks manageable.
The beast needs a name! “Rocky”, cause it’s a fighter!
I will do anything for one of those trail breakers. Where did u find it.
So cool❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good to see your dad. Just maybe you can talk him into hauling some rocks to a rock garden.
Good thing you found one in NV cause they can’t be sold in CA.
Dad is epic
Your dad was ripping on that thing. No fear.
You still might consider making the trails wide enough for a side by side. A rider at my local park went down and broke some vertebrae and the rescue team had a hell of a time getting him out because it was so narrow.

@@jessecharodetsky it's all how you design the whole trail system. 5 ft trail is wide but for bike park style stuff it's much wider.

One of our more remote local trails bought the local FD a Rokon to do rescues.
9:46 - major construction occurring with a backhoe behind the shredquarters! What's that all about?!
Was looking at a few videos on the rokon and thinking i wouldn’t mind one. Nah not now you changed my mind, easier on a dirt bike.
Lol that town you picked it up at is the same town a new HBO series takes place in. I think it’s called Small Town News. It’s pretty funny.
Finally an episode where you did not mention poop or the pooper. Enough of that ‘crap’ already. Lol. Your dad is the man!
I could fix your problem with not rotating with your ujoint when your Rokcon is is a angle.
They Do Or Did Make A Pump For Fighting Fires For the ROKON'S ,THEY Might Be A Good Thing For You & The Kick Stand is Made To Pivot Ir 360 Either Way in A Tight Place, & Put More Weight On The Front Tire & It Will Clime Way Better
I know what I want for Christmas lmaoooo
Have you considered a Suron eMX bike its like a light weight eMX with mtb parts. Also your dad is great :)
Dude, I reckon you also need an EMTB....
You could remove a lot of pressure from the tyres, way much traction.
You can see you take after your dad when he took the Rokon and started shredding on it 😂
Hey, now that its been a year how do you feel about the Rokon? I am considering getting one for hunting purposes (moving to alaska and might need to move lots of meat). I would probably build a one wheel trailer using a Rokon rim and matching tire that could double as an emergency spare. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Forget about your skinny Ripmo Brian ! This is the bike to shred the trails !!!!!
More rokon vids
What size tires are the ones on the trailer?
What was that earth mover doing in the background???
Me india🇮🇳🇮🇳 se hu
the yam tw250 is a good bike for this king of thing
Was that tractor on your property we see at the 10:12 mark?
Was that a backhoe at 9:43 in the background?
