Hello Jay and whole crew of E2 English. Today I received my OET result of October diet. I cleared my OET with a B in all 4 categories. Thanks to every single member of this great initiative. Only preparation i did was to watch all your youtube videos for one week before the real exam. I could get a clear idea how will the exam be & there was no surprise on exam day too. Real exam was comparatively on easier side than the preparatory questions. It was a cake walk for me because of your really really informative videos. 5 out of 6. It's quite tricky so we need to listen carefully. And there's a lot of distraction choices so we need to go beyond the question carefully. Thank you for this Sir Jay.

I passed the IELTS UKVI last year because of Sir Jay! I owe him a lot specially in terms of strategy. Now, I am a part-time IELTS tutor. Since a lot of my colleagues wish to take OET, I knew I had to gain knowledge again from him by watching keenly these videos so I could somehow effectively help my colleagues develop their own confidence and personal strategies. Hi! am in a great confusion whether to go with IELTS or OET and to add on i already gave an attempt of IELTS. If possible kindly give me a clarity.

I scored 5/6 and the questions were indeed tough and challenging eventhough you made it a lot easier by cutting out the sentences for each question.

Hi Jay i got 5/6 thank you for a great strategies . It helps a lot to choose correct answer.

Challenges during this subtest are the speakers used and in worst case scenario, the poor quality of the recordings which makes it really difficult to understand each context. This is what I experienced when I took the OET here in the Philippines. I don't think so in other countries. What I want to explain is that you guys should be prepare for the scenarios like this as we used to practice our listening subtest through our earphones which doesnt happen during the test day.
