I know some people might not really be into it, but I am personally digging the amount of experimentation in this album. What's been released so far is very diverse and I absolutely love it. Very hyped for the 22nd!

Odeza and Blackmill are my two. My everything when I feel like nothing, which is a lot. Talk about touching the soul on a whole new level

6 minutes and 40 seconds of utter bliss from this song, 6 songs crossed off the board, 6 songs remaining, and a full audience waiting to feel this ecstasy once more. Edit: this song is incredible, but i can't help but feel sentimental at the end with the audio of clayton and harrison with their parents. it really makes me think of the good old days when your moments were nothing if not pure. and now, i think it's hard to get them back, but at least you can look back at them and be grateful your younger self had the chance.

This is it. This is growth. For someone who has been listening to odesza songs for a long time, this is definitely another (high) i am so willing to explore. This really is it. And OMG, how wonderful the next one will be. I really can't imagine it anymore. And oh, the strings! Oh strings, carry me with thine chariot home.

Odesza and Olafur two of my favs in one song. It's Christmas in July.

I cry everytime I listen to this amazing song, but it's not because I feel sadness, it's because I would like so much to "reach the light of day" in my life, and this beautiful music gives me tears of hope in the night... :)

I am loving the vibe of this song. This whole album was a masterpiece! For the people who had anything negative to say. All artists evolve and grow. No artist is the same as they were 5 years ago. Why would you want them to be creating the same music over and over anyways?? Keep it coming! I absolutely love it guys! 🥰😍

they evolve? it has nothing to do with the music they put out, only few get better , but most, the best work is at the begining, then they are lost and have no more ideas what to do. better way or better words that all artist reach a peak performance, then is all down hill

Odesza amazes me over and over again! Listening to that song over head phones, closing my eyes and my thoughts leave our galaxy. They travel through several other galaxies and explore countless breathtakingly awesome worlds. Years later they return and you notice "Wow! Just a short moment has passed by and there are still minutes left over to enjoy this masterpiece!" Great job, guys!

When I first heard this, I thought Olafur Arnalds was actually John Denver. Such a beautiful tune growing on me every day

ODESZA has always hit differently the most. Flume is a hard contender. But I will never regret claiming ODESZA as my all time favorite artists in existence. I still remember the day finding them years ago. So magical, so sentimental, so wondrous. And I’m so proud a friend put on the classic “Bloom” song by them when I was taking on DMT for the first time. It was and still is very indescribable and very incomprehensible to even explain listening to Bloom as I blasted. I shall never forget all the emotions and feelings I experienced going under in that magical journey. I wish I could share and show it with everyone.💙

I first heard Ólafur at a 3-D Van Gogh art exhibit a couple months ago and instantly became a fan. Then, not too long after that, the track list to this album was released. When I saw that you guys collaborated with Ólafur I couldn’t believe it! This song was everything I could’ve imagined and more. Thank you Odesza!

Just saw Olafur for the second time in Portland. I’ve seen Odesza multiple times as well, but I never, never thought I’d hear them do something together. This is magical. 😭

I didn't read the title of the song properly, and when I started listening I thought 'this sounds suspiciously like Ólafur Arnalds'... which it was! So good to see this collab; never thought it would happen, but here here we are, and it's amazing.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Odesza and Olafur Arnalds together. And here I thought the ones with Bettye LaVette and Susanne Sandfor were the best thing I've ever heard in my life...

New Odesza today, new Porter Robinson tomorrow. What a week.

After seeing certain comments I just want to say: Remember the super mega GOATS Moderat, right? Everyone was dying for new music after waiting for years, literally begging them to release anything. Now that they released an album full of experimentation (which is what artists do btw, not just do the same kind songs over and over again), people spent weeks bashing on their singles saying how this new music is not the same as their old music, how they ruined everything for trying something new instead of pushing for the same. Now everyone is not so negative about them and even grew to like it. So my suggestion for those who are so negative or are skeptical: Give Odesza time. Take a break and listen the new album from time to time. You may discover it isn't actually bad. And if you still think it's actually that bad, unfortunately you can't always please everyone. Sure The Last Good Bye isn't even a little close to be as good as AMA or Summer's Gone, but I personally like it and as artists they have the right to try new sounds.

Spoken like a literal revenant.

I didn't like the track with Florence and I immediately came to terms, it being the 1st single, that this 2nd album would probably be a too big of a leap compared to the first album. That album which became the soundtrack of a very beautiful time when I travelled a lot, pre-COVID. I'm all for artists letting their creative juices flow, and changing their sound, even when it means I stay behind and wave goodbye. And as such, I always with them well and always find joy in their original work. I've been a long time follower of Ólafur, and as such, a friend alerted me to this new song. My hopes are suddenly back up again. It made me feel like your previous work always did: as if I'm being completed inside by all the colors, warmth, and a power that only special songs have: that time is coming to a standstill around me. I hope this song is a monument to what your new release will be. This is an extremely pleasant surprise. :)
