The shape that's spinning is called an isohedron. It's a spherical shape made out of 20 equilateral triangles. Five triangles to make the cap, 5 to make the bottom (which are both essentially extruded pentagons), and 10 around the sides.

It's difficult to describe Odesza's sound because it is so unlike any other. There's a diaphanous quality to their music, a spell-binding idiosyncracy that transports you into another world the moment the eclectic drum patterns come in. One moment you have flawlessly syncopated claps and short vocal samples, and the next, jaw-dropping vocal arrangements of varying pitch, topped off with a highly-addictive all-round organic texture that feels just so good. Simultaneously introspective and psychedelic, humble and exotic, Odesza not only manages to capture our hearts but also the very essence of our souls. It is ethereal and it is sublime, yet unequivocal all the same. Every track is a masterpiece in its own right, delievered like a dream.

I discovered this song when I was like 11 yo… I’m 20 years old now. This song got me out of a deep depression as a child and gave me a form of escape from reality. I tried showing my parents the song as a kid and they laughed at me because it wasn’t with lyrics like standard music has… I then cried and listened to this artists’ music. Even if it was a brief 3 minutes or so, … every time I played it it felt like an eternity and made me yearn for more feelings of nostalgic euphoria that I could never understand. Thanks to this I’m still here today, alive, well, and expanding in the world of, while connecting with new people through music. It’s truly an art if you can make someone feel something. Love and music are so powerful. Thank you for the experience I indulged in one day by accident.
I was 16 when I first heard these magical notes.. 16 years later, I am back in that mystical pocket with the binaural beats jostling my soul to a higher frequency 😊

This song, especially the beginning, makes one feel as if they are witnessing something immense and phenomenal but unknown. The image that comes to mind is a small group of people, the last on earth, watching the sun explode! GET WRITING SCREENWRITERS! xx
This song makes me think of my kids and how much fun I’ve had being a dad. I didn’t have a good fatherhood as a child. Makes me rewind all my memories as they’ve started to age. Makes me realize how lucky I am to have them!
This song brings me back to a better, happier time.
This song has a way of making me feel so alone - not crippling loneliness, but being in an empty room sort of alone, with a combination of that eerie 3am-paranormal-activity vibe. Yet I can't stop listening. It's reaching a part of my soul that I fear, but in small doses of only a few minutes.
This song makes me cry every time I hear it. I let out my emotions when I listen to this song 👀
This is probably my favorite song of all time. I can’t really describe why or why I love any of Odeszas music for that matter. It’s just so beautiful
walking down the street in the sunset, the birds are chirping and everything else is silent, you run towards the sunset and turn around to see a mist forming behind you shimmering gold, nothing gold can stay and it comes at the most unexpected times in life when you don't want it. So what if people came from Buzzfeed though? There are lots of good music that people would have never heard of if it wasn't on a different video like me I came from the buzzfeed princess video and the song inspired me it was really beautiful.

Heard this song in 2016 at 16 with my cousin in his blazer heading up through the mountains, getting higher than the clouds themselves, and now 22 hearing this brings me back into that passenger seat overlooking all of the Bitterroot Valley 🙌❤🥲
Why is this so underrated? Okay, personal preferences ... I love it

If I ever befriended a person that has been deaf throughout their entire life, and was at the surgical room where they fixed their ears to hear for the first time, I would play them this song; you're welcome future deaf friend.

It's actually more of a south East Asian sound. This actually derives from Thailand and Laos.
Dropped 2 tabs and listened to this with headphones. 1:56 had me nearly crying with joy. Such an awesome song..
this deserve more and more likes and views ... amazing love from Nepal
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ ✨This is like Magic! ✨ ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
When I listened to this song, I was reminded of the pictures I've seen of the Himalayas and Hindu Kush mountains and the peoples that live there. My dream is to travel there one day, learn and immerse myself in their cultures, and culminate my experience through a montage of footage with this song as the music:))
Coming back to this again on 8th Oct 2021 - it is THAT good.
Odesza seems to invoke a very sad feeling or melancholy. To me it sounds of beauty and discovery.
