I really do get why Eugene chose this song for his video. Its so emotional and empowering. It doesn't need lyrics. The song already speaks for itself.

It's a warm autumn day, and you are on a very smoothly paved road, lightly covered with the beautiful autumn leaves that are as orange as the sunset sky. Nobody is on this road with you. It's just you, this car, and the open beautiful country highway. Your adrenaline is rushing through your veins, and as this song crescendos, you slam the throttle. The force that you feel as you launch into the sunset, narrows your vision's focus to the open road ahead of you, and its beautiful curvature that contours to the gracefully rounded hills. In that moment when your vision narrows, all sound dies away, leaving only this song and the sound of the wind as you rush down the road. Now, I am no creative writer, nor am I sure that anyone reading this will ever know this feeling that I feel - but when I hear this song, the scenario I hopefully illustrated well to all of you - this is how I feel when I hear this song.

Anyone ever get the feeling that a song is trying to tell them something. Like the song isn't just recorded, but is actively speaking? If so that's the type of feeling I get from this song. Even it's Like to dislike ratio is hugely in it's favor. at well over 97 % Like the song.... There is something about this song, and I can't quite put my finger, but it is both inspiring and humbling at the same time...

Everytime I hear this song I think of my nephew Alex who passed away in July of a Cerebral Aneurysm and was getting his PHD in geology. His passing makes me realize we are only a moment apart😪

I seen this song LIVE at the last day of Camp Bisco 2019, it was so magical and i was so happy to be in the moment in a giant crowd of my friends and peers in the scene, but also sad that it was the last day of 3 of the best days of my life. I've never been to a multi-day festival, let alone one where you camp and survive while enjoying the people and the music........this song will forever capture that momemt for me for the rest of my life, and I am very grateful to ODESZA for giving me a moment I will never forget :)

I first heard this on the title screen for Forza Horizon 4. It's a really fitting song for the themes of the game (freedom to roam, exploration, etc). Amazing song. Very underrated artist.

I drove my son to high school everyday and we’d listen to this/ Odesza and what a very special time we spent together. I will be forever grateful and will always cherish that special time when I hear this song… Merci…

this song is more powerful then all the hate in the world

This reminds me of something someone once said to me “You will go through life and you’ll grown up, obviously but you’ll see a lot of things seasons, sights, stuff that will amaze you, but what might get past you is your loved one passing friends coming and going, maybe one day you’ll be at your own funeral and you’ll see all the people you know and love waiting for you. Just remember that.” I get reminded of this when I hear this some for some reason. ❤️

There is something so unique about this song, especially when you pair it with a nice refreshing drive at night

When I hear this I always get chills then start to cry and I feel like my body is being reengerized how strange that music has that effect.

I still play the game to this day, I've never left it. I can't. If I can stay at the main menu for hours just for the song, you can imagine I'm not gonna leave playing the game either. I do not give a single damn about what any Forza elitist has to say - this is my favorite in the franchise, and nobody is gonna change my mind

You know that story of the Russian cosmonaut? So he goes up in this big spaceship, and he's got this portal window and he's looking out of it, and he sees the curvature of the Earth for the first time, and all of a sudden this strange ticking begins coming out of the dashboard, but he can't find it, he can't stop it, it keeps going. Few hours into this, begins to feel like torture, what's he gonna do? He's up in space! So the cosmonaut decides, the only way to save his sanity... is to fall in love with the sound. So he closes his eyes... and he goes into his imagination, and then he opens them. He doesn't hear ticking anymore. He hears music. And he spends the sailing through space in total bliss... and peace.

This is a perfect song from start to finish

For me, its different. I go for a walk, listening to this, and I see my life story. My dad mentally and physically abusing me my whole life, getting him under arrest, and then being evicted from my home. Discovering something that inspired me, starting my Instagram, and finding my true family. Finally emancipating myself, and leaving Oregon to live with my boyfriend. A year later, reuniting with my friends and having a party. At that party, my friends are shot by my older sister and her friends. Everyone who's despised me my entire life, finally having a chance to ruin me, my true family trying to help me, while my biological one prevents them from doing it. Then, me walking up a mountain, standing at the edge, as the sun sets, and behind me, down the mountain, the people who care about me vs the people who hate me, fighting, and me taking the leap off the cliff, closing my eyes, and finally feeling free.

I first heard about ODESZA in the videogame "Steep" with "Memories that you call". That is such a good, happy song! This song, however, is on a different level. Amazing! I like the fact that the vocals aren't overpowering. Add the piano and the violin, and it makes is so complete! Good job!

I don't think I can ever leave Forza Horizon 4 alone ever again. After playing 3 and hearing bad things about 4, I hated the game and never wanted to touch it. I came home from school one evening and found the game in the main menu, I was attracted to the tunes that was this song, I came closer, moved my mouse to turn the display and low and behold: Forza Horizon 4 - I spent half an hour just listening to the music on the main menu screen, and then I started playing... I love the game to bits, I still play it to this day- even after my sister who was the one who installed the game onto my PC before I came back from school, is no longer around... Everything will be okay
