I got exploding head syndrome once when I was falling asleep. It sounded like a goofy clown laughing inches from my face. Took a bit for my heart to stop beating so hard.

I had an experience where I started drifting to sleep and heard a large shriek behind me and shot out of bed, I dislocated one of my toes it scared me so bad.

I remember one time as I drifted to sleep, I heard what sounded someone busted through the door. I shot up immediately only to discover nothing changed. The door was still open a bit because my cats like to come in but from how aggressive it sounded, The door would’ve been wide open.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think the danger is that there is hole covered up with leaves in the middle of the picture. Edit: never mind, just found out there is a copperhead snake in the picture

The photo of the knife angel is from the cathedral in my city, Derby. It was made from knives that had been confiscated or handed in during an amnesty as a message against knife crime.

For the sleep paralysis one, not very accurate. I’ve had it since I was three, it’s mostly different “things” and can even be auditory hallucinations, I’ve had one where I could FEEL stuff that wasn’t there, and over the years I’ve learnt to move while it happens. It’s not paranormal either,

Never seen one at that temp, but, the way my bearded face looked at Point Barrows in the winter, it looks exactly as I'd expect. And certainly not something I'd want to come around a corner and see. Bison make me more concerned than Grizzly do. A Grizzly can be scared off. If you bother a Bison, it won't leave until you're dead... And your existence can bother a Bison.

13:39 as a person with chronic exploding head syndrome, I can absolutely confirm how oddly terrifying it is. Another thing about ehs that people don't talk about is the quiet things too. It doesn't have to be loud. Sometimes when I'm half asleep, I'll hear something as simple as the pop of a water bottle. Other times, it's far more frightening like the sound of breathing or whispering next to you. Shakes you up real good.

this is only what I saw, but in the painting one if you didn't notice, the girl whose Pov your in's coffee has a skull, there's a bloody handprint next to the blind man, the blind man is reading, the main waitress has a bloody knife, there are squid arms under the shelf with cups, there are more squid arms on the floor in front of the mother, the mother pulling the child has a squid tentacle, and (here's the best one) in the very bottom left corner, verry small, you just got rickrolled ;)

fyi, the music is "traditional jazz" known in the 20th century as Dixieland jazz. the forerunner of British skiffle.

Yeah I understand that, for me it’s whenever I’m sleep deprived and possibly stressed. I get sleep paralysis when it happens and all I hear is just people talking very loudly that it’s painfully deafening. Although with the sleep paralysis I don’t get the spooky figure or pressure in my chest as I usually lay on my stomach. But the loud talking happens in either one or both ears and it’s just annoying to have.

Used to go off roading on some pretty remote areas. Came across a rolled up carpet lying beside the trail with a lump in it. It smelled like something dead. Never looked in it and never said anything about it or heard anything on the news about it.

I had a neighbour whose house was like the one in the thumbnail. His house attracked rats, so the prefecture forced him to remove the trash. One day he stopped coming out, some guys entered in the house and found him dead.
