I thought it was odd that those crested geckos could be out of their enclosures without running away. I had some kind of lizard that took off like a rocket when let out and was never seen again. But the BEST part of the video was you Dav acting like you were dejected with the piano music playing in the background. I played it 3 times and LOL every time.

Didn’t you show us the red and orange Euromastyx (aka; Mastigures) at a foreigner’s house some time ago Dāvey? The dude’s house (in Holland I believe) was like a zoo, he turned every room into a unique, walk-through enclosure. Some in the basement were deeply excavated with walkways over pits of crocodilians with huge boas in the trees at eye level. Euromastyx require extremely hot basking spots like 110F+ and also cooler places to thermoregulate, heat is a major consideration for proper husbandry. *I could swear it was on this channel...* 🤔

It really does look like a Croc Monitor at a quick glance. The monitors’ body type is very different though; sleeker with very long tails. Beaded lizards are more arboreal than Gila Monsters and both species are CITES listed.
