Yo this is dope, but I got a quick question I hear it everywhere and I cannot for the life of me replicate it. I've been a violinist for thirteen years and I still can't "slide" notes like I hear in most Japanese music. I mean maybe I'm doing it but i'm not hearing it personally, because people always tell me I'm better than I think I sound (And I think I mess up most of the time). Is it like transitioning from first to third position or something like that?

Yah I think so. My slides mostly happen when I shift. Occasionally I purposely shift cuz i like how it sounds. I think recording yourself would help a lot with what ur talking about.
