43 years as a flight attendant with Delta. Retired last year when they offered an extremely generous departure package due to the need to reduce headcount as the pandemic unfolded. I can't imagine 43 years with any other company that could have matched my time at Delta.

Congratulations. I retired from Delta 13 years ago after 32 years in front line Airport Customer Service as an agent, supervisor, manager and general manager. Enjoy you're retirement. You earned it.

@@Papichoochoo1969 Yes active and retired Delta employees have lifetime travel benefits. Spouses if the active or retired employee is married also receive free flights benefits. If single, we can designate a "companion" who will also receive free flight benefits.

I will never forget the kindness of every Delta employee I encountered when I had to fly across the world to attend my mother’s funeral. Everything went smoothly from the first call to change an existing booking to touchdown at my destination. Delta are the absolute best and I can’t wait to fly with you again.

And, I get it, nothing is perfect, but when you travel, expect the unexpected too, that has happened to me, three x flying home from Europe and their sisters airlines, KLM and Air France handled me with care and promptness, rescheduling and taking the time to explain to me my new route home to the USA, again impressed. Yes… they are allowed within a carryon or checked bag as long as they go through the X-ray machine without triggering a density or explosive alert. If your bag needs to be searched, they will be unwrapped. Otherwise, it is the same as any other boxed item.

I’ve never flown with Delta before, but I’ve tried other airlines and the best airline I’ve experience was Alaska

I’m flying to Orlando in June so I might take Delta or southwest I love delta’s uniforms by the way
