Casey P yea it’s a good one,one more tip that I forgot to put in the video,be careful with the distortion effect before u hit a sound with it turned on make sure the volume is down cause it’s OD loud.but overall it’s a great vst some real cool sounds in there I’m glad I was able to help !!!

I got the octane plugin, I recently purchased trap star & industry standards. I can not retrieve them, on there site it says to download from the store right at the bottom of octane. There is suppose to a button that says "More sounds" mine don't say that. The version I have has 3 buttons which all three say something different. How do I contact them?

It's a nifty VST, ever better than Soundship I've been using. My only gripe is that I hold most of my VSTs on a separate drive that isn't my main C: drive, but there's no option to save the vst and information anywhere else.

Guys if y’all are getting the same problem as me where the volume doesn’t work or none of the sounds come through try entering the serial number after pressing the “ACTIVATION “ button under the sound categories if you received an email after purchasing the serial number should be in the email

I purchased it last month and having problems first my Serial number is not working when I hit activate, also It does not show up to use in Mashine mk2 limited edition when I scan for the plug in. I am running a PC today going to try to see if I can get it working in FL Studios I have emailed them the issues which are not resolved.

Idk if u read the compatibility section before you bought it(idk what it says cause I didn’t read it) but it may not be something that works with mashine.as far as ya serial number not working,their customer service is EXCELLENT if y shoot them an email I’m sure they will fix any problems u may be having.I’m using Logic on my Mac and I didn’t have any problems but yea hit them up

Have you encountered any issues with the Octane plugin remembering your preset selections after you've reopened a session? I'm noticing a bug where when I reopen a session the Octant plan doesn't remember my presents. Very frustrating and for this reason I don't recommend anyone buy this vest, very buggy!

Can you help me with octane. If I use it I have to be connected to the internet. Problem is if I record a track and then log out when I open my project I lose the sound and I have to go back and log in to the internet with octane to use it. If internet is down can't use it. So if you have a suggestion that can help with that I would appreciate it. Other wise I won't ever use this thing. Thanks

Well I don’t work for the company,so you should definitely contact someone via email from the company they could probably assist you better with that problem.it’s not a problem I have so I’m not 100 percent familiar with the issue

Every time I even try installing this software it only says error every single time I have been trying since yesterday and everytime I try to load it it constantly keeps saying error, don’t even waste your money on this to anyone watching it doesn’t work and I’m contacting my bank for a refund now. Their “help” doesn’t even work anymore (says they stopped using it?), the support is horrible, and can’t find any way to contact them through email. I can’t even open the standalone???? The exe’s don’t work or anything?! Horrible plug-in do not buy.

Did you have any trouble installing it? I downloaded the installer and after it runs when I try opening the plugin it goes to a photo editing software and fl studio freezes when its trying to add the plugin to the database. By the way, just found your videos today and they are great brother. Keep doing what you do.

Rob Sauls theres no kick drum in the vst any drums u hear are my own personal stash.i sell some of my drums in my sample pack(link in description)

my plugin doesn't work. no sounds play on it.

The customer service is ***HORRIBLE*** i bought the $40 bundle and the two VST3 plug-ins wont load in Ableton 10 suite. And there is NO WAY to install to a drive *OTHER THAN*** my c drive (not enough space). I've been trying for 2 days now to get assistance but they just keep sending links to their help me page.

Just sounds like basic sounds with a ton of reverb on them

KEYZY License Manager (search ya emails) if u still don’t see it go to Octaneplugin.com and log in to your account (they automatically make an account for u upon purchase) if u need ya log in info you should of received an email from Octane with all ya log in info so just search your emails thoroughly

Aynglish Skool I would say slow down on buying so many plugins,you can overwhelm yourself.take your time go through each one and learn it’s capabilities and explore all the possibilities with each plug in

Had this issue. Make sure you register on the website and go to "downloads". From there choose Mac or PC and make sure you allow for unidentified developer downloads. That was my issue.

Jay James thanks I appreciate you bro.as far as sound design goes I’d say the fact that it has two layers and allows u to combine and tweak sounds that can really elevate your sound.as far as digging deeper than that it’s not like a synthesizer where u can really tweak the sound signature and create something totally new,u kind of have to work with the presets and combine them to make something new.if you looking for something that’s dope for sound creation u should check out Pigments

I bought one for $40 but it doesn't work because it doesn't have presets.

Same thing happened to me, but initially it worked.

Good review man but this vst (in my opinion) is not good. The sounds are from recycled soundfonts and nexus. I know this for a fact. Save your $9.00. Regardless the beat came out fire. Salute

Says "may be risk to your PC" ,🤔......waste of 10 bucks

avoid octane its garbage..very few editing options and the sound is very hollow..too me it sounds like a very bad free sfz sample player..save your $10 go buy one of the air technology plugins instead you can usually buy hybrid 3..etc for much less and they sound production ready..if you buy octane youll spend alot of time trying too get it too sound useable

If you're choosing sounds that are automatically useable, then you're avoiding 60% of the art that goes into the mixing of a beat

In my opinion it's not good VST, If I've had the experience I have now before, I wouldn't spend 1 dollar on that.

@@ArsineyMusic I mean the sounds are great, but when I’m playing, the notes are not in the right frequencies as they should be. In my opinion it’s finished just to 50%. The plugin isn’t finished to sound great. It’s unfinished VST. I know the price is good, library is good, but I would pay a lot of more for this plugin, if it will be finished to the end.

The download link should be in your email bro idk why u paid 39 but on the website it’s less than that if u search ya email and it’s not in ya email just contact sonic sounds they are very responsive and supportive and they help right away

Alton Brown really? That seems off u should contact the company they are really cool and I’m sure they would fix that problem for u

If this is so dope why you selling it for $9.99? I guess for someone who can’t afford Nexus or Omnisphere it’s a game changer. Then you keep making reference to it’s price range. Which implies that you know it’s not worth much. Not only monetary value, but sound wise or from the perspective of quality. It’s basically a sample pack that you loaded up in a GUI using synth master. Not hating on you. I support people creating things, small business. Maybe this is the beginning of bigger things to come. But just keep it real. No game changer about this.
