i got really easy octal to binary or binary to octal we just like borrow 3 numbers || as well as for hexa dec to binary or binary to hexa dec we just borrow 4 numbers instead ! really appreciated to show us how easy it is :3

Wow on my exam I was dividing by 2 lmao. And then if there was a remainder, write a 1, then truncated the remainder to highest whole number less than the decimal. I missed the octal to binary day 😂

2^0 = 1 , 2^1 = 2, 2^2 = 4 He’s using those because he’s trying to find out base 2 version of the number 56 in base 8

There's no such thing as 89(8), because Octal number system starts with 0 to 7 then immediately began counting to 10 skipping the 8s and 9s in its numeral system.

can you please do fractional octal number's ? it'd be too late by then but am pretty sure it'd help others as well
