Love your videos so much! Just wondering for the OCR A level Chemistry practicals (PAGs), are they all included throughout your videos or do I need to revise them separately? Thanks!

Hi I was wondering what you meant at 14.36 by "this is a mild oxidising agent so is reduced itself". do you mean that acidified potassium dichromate reduces itself despite the alcohols being present?

I think it means the acidified potassium dichromate is reduced as it gains electrons causing something else to lose electrons (oxidation) so it is an OXIDISING agent because it oxidises something else by being reduced itself.

Hi, I have it written in my notes that the less soluble the compound in the oily stationary phase, then the smaller the retention time, but your presentation says the opposite. I’m just a bit confused, please could u clear this up? Thanks
