I went there only once back in 2003. I was on a business trip to Kansas City, and I didn't have any work to do on that Friday, so they gave me a free vacation day. It was cheaper to let me stay in the hotel over the weekend than to fly me home and then back out there the following Monday for more work.

I haven’t been there since the 80’s. I was considering taking my son there, so I’m glad this video exists. That place is kinda ugly for a water park.

I know the Hurricane Harbor parks are owned by a different company, but after this park became included with admission in 2013, I was hoping Six Flags would take notes from this and make Hurricane Harbor in Valencia, CA included with admission to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Instead they did the opposite by keeping that Hurricane Harbor separately gated and started charging admission to Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags Great America. I wasn't a fan of that at all.

Oceans of Fun absolutely destroyed Coconut Cove… such a boring area now

@@TheCoasterSpot used to have slides, interactive water features, floating rubber animals to climb, and a lily pad course but they took everything out. Now it’s just a big, fenced-in pool with a couple spray hoses at the shallow end.
