No, the Eleven are the only SWAT team. Remember, when the guy called 9-1-1, the tech guy back at the hotel intercepted the call, and as a result the real police never got the call. Then, the Eleven pretended to be the SWAT team, packing up and bringing out the money under the guise that they were in fact police officers. Boss ending, in summary.

The only members who pretended to be SWAT troops were Rusty, Turk, Livingston, Basher, Saul, and Frank, Reuben and Virgil were in a car remote controlling the van.

I remember being like 10-11 and seeing this scene BLEW MY MIND !

Im so annoyed that when i watched this movie for the first time a few days ago, i instantly recognised the swat guys voice as Brad Pitts. He does a very similar voice in Inglorious Basterds which ive seen dozens of times so the end twist was ruined for me.

Benedict is feelin so salty right now

While the reboot Oceans 11 blows the original out of the water. Especially with this great twist. I must say something I liked from the original was the police being contacted by all the casinos, the robbery in the papers, the casinos all teaming up. It felt like their heist left a huge impact. While in this version while clean and slick. It just felt like they got robbed and just went. “Ok anyways.”

Love this movie so much.

"And you think they just gonna let us walk out with the money in our hands?" "Yes." "oh, okay."

Just one question. Benedict believed the bad guys to be in the vault. They send down the SWAT team, there's a shootout and an explosion. No bad guys are found dead or injured, and Benedict just releases the team? Where did he think the robbers went?

Lot of things cannot be explained. 160 million dollars in 100-dollar bills weighs 1600 kilograms.(3520 pounds ) Even if they all were professional weightlifters, they could not possibly carry it out in standard sportsbags. But we can not analayze heist movie too much .We just have to enjoy it .

when i saw it i didnt kno how they got the money out i knew benedict didnt just let a swat team walk out with a bunch of bags but they already had it in the elevator before he even got there hahahaha

LOL I remember how immensely dissapointed I felt when I thought they were only taking PART of the money...and then they (apparently) blew it all up. And THEN...when I discovered what REALLY happened, I was like, "The SWAT team--of COURSE!!!" and was laughing thoughout the whole sequence!

I still don't get this....WHEN do they take the money? Because Benedict is at one point in the vault with the SWAT team (aka the eleven). Have they already put the money in the SWAT van before then? Or do they bring the unmarked bags in with them, fill them with the money before Benedict joins them in the vault, and then just walk out with them when he tells them to leave? Most of it is explained but certainly this part is not made clear - it is when they leave with the money that's important.

I once joked with my friend and asked I wonder what would happen if you actually did pull an Ocean's Eleven in real life and successfully made it out of the casino with all that money. My friend immediatly laughed and said "Yeah you won't get away with it"!

Also we aren't talking about a couple of random guys who just got together these are experienced criminals who are all connected and have a past (Which is why you would wonder why none of them ever questioned Danny or even anyone on the team) they are all proper thieves i doubt any would rat

Actually at one casino back in the 80s a guy dressed up as a janitor walked right into a cashiers cage emptied the cake bins into a garbage bag and walked out the back door . Made out with 500k cash, and because he emptied the buy in money it wasn't possible to trace.

Yeah but you wouldn't think anything of it because you would think they need their equipment to rappel down and breach the vaults and for their weapons

the ending is great! but I have one question (a silly one) So there were to swat teams? (elevens and the real ones) or who says "I don't understand, what happend to all that money"?

The tech they had in the 90’s and 2000’s was not as good as today so it would have been pretty to tap into their systems but todays tech; it’s very complicated and sophisticated. Can the team bypass today’s technology? We’ll see :)
