@@typhoongamer4180 Playing free to play takes a fair bit longer to progress, plus the pacing of the game is meant to be slow. You might get bored of going for the same fish over and over again, but because it's "the right species for xp", it ends up feeling bland because you're forcing yourself to go for it - the equipment prices don't help either.

I’m surprised I didn’t see any big shark species added like hammerhead or great whites. Those would be an absolute insane fish to catch.

I mean -- we learned this weeks ago when we had the first interview with Andrii in the livestream, told us we wouldn't have any shark species. So, yes, initially surprising, but at this point, well aware.

In Hawaii we call the Giant trevallys “ulua” it’s probably the most popular sought after fish in Hawaii . I’m so happy and glad they have those as now I can catch them in real life and virtually. What a great update can’t wait .

So keen for these fish! call them GT's here in Australia, and i hope they fight like they do in real life, have lost my fair share of tackle thanks to them swimming directly into the reef once hooked.

We have MOST of those fish species here in Australia, so it will almost be like I'm fishing in Australia😉👍 when I finally get there that is😂, I'm NEARLY lvl 74, almost at congo but haven't been playing much since st pats event, I'm thinking if buying Congo (want a boat with 2 rod holders) and hard grindin to 80+ grinding nile perch, OR buy ocean dlc, but no one knows how to grind ocean yet, soooo idk which way to go atm🤷 i fell kinda stuck, any advice welcome, I'm fairly sure I'm gunna buy ONE of those DLC's though, just, which one is the question?, I know i would definitely fell more comfortable at Congo, seeing the ocean/boat is a new style of fishing/trawling ect..., Anyway, Tight lines fellow fisho's🐟

They're adding GT and Kingfish but im only lvl 19 and the game is pay-to-win so I'll never be able to catch 'em haha. What makes you want to spend your money on this game? especially as everything is double the price of what it should be for us Aussies..

​@@EarfonesI already brought the Amazon DLC as a thanks to FP for a decent FREE game, yeah it's micro trans (but it can be grinded to the end for free), but I did grind up to lvl55 free before I brought it, and fishing the Amazon dlc got me to lvl70 fairly quick with premium involved, so I'm thinking of doing it again on congo to get ocean unlocked, and yeah their prices are a lil high, also, to me, the Japanese amberjack in this video looks kinda like a kingy (kingfish)? What you reckon?.

What lvl u had to be?

Does anyone know the lvl for this ?

As you should! I’m so confused why people keep commenting that they’ve “moved onto another game while they wait for the update,” as if that’s a crazy idea. Seems like a pretty standard thing to me. I certainly wouldn’t expect someone to just keep playing the same game, redoing what they’ve already done, over and over again while they wait 🤣 sounds awful!

sadly i switched from xbox to playstation so im low level now so itll probably be a new map before im even close to that map

As someone who grew up playing world of warcraft... where it was completely expected for them to add a new dlc every few years to continue the story and raise the level cap... I honestly just don't understand this reasoning, and it gets little sympathy from me -- but to each their own!

Could you please add kg and meter / cm whenever you add weight and length. Just on the text would be fine, you have a lot of EU fans and most of us probably including myself have to google convert .. I have no idea how much 880lbs is for example. It would be extremely appreciated.. much love from Denmark

If you’ve got no money or rods, your best bet is to log in every day for a week to get login money, then use that to buy the first telefloat rod and reel and go back to catching sunfish at lonestar lake
