I think he could have been the best live-action Batman if the script hadn't been so bad. I can't blame him for that.

that opening shot on the night fox is just great cinematography - most stylish film from the series.

I love the fact that when they were having this meeting, they already went to see Le Marque, knew that he was going to challenge them, knew what item they were stealing, and already stole it before they even went in and stole his paintings. When Danny was talking about him and said they respond in kind we know what he really meant, to get ahead of him.

I found that entire premise to be insulting. It made 80% of the movie unnecessary fluff by its own definition. It is an unbelievably ridiculous idea that they would talk, and act, and get arrested like that as it was all part of "the plan". - This movie was nothing more than "let's hang out in Italy, make some slop and call it soufflé". Just because someone wants me to think they are cool and awesome does not mean that I have to fall for it.

He definitely got serious style, this man!

That's why Danny it's a better thief, Toulour is all about ego, irresponsibility and insecurities. He broke a key rule among thiefs just to get Danny's attention and challenge him, because of a person's comment. The best thief KNOWS he is the best, and doesn't need to prove anything. Danny is responsible, doesn't go around showing off, and to teach Toulour a lesson, he's going like "You spend all this time watching us and obsessed with us, that you don't even realize that you stole a replica, and I, with my partners, used a simple switch trick to get". Being a better thief is about team playing, planning and intelligence"

And he never did it for his own pleasure, Touloure pick the wrong opponent by thought "I will win this war", but little thing he didn't know or aware, he might be skillful but he couldn't compete against 11 brains who have their own particular skills and of course have more experience in social life while Touloure only associating with the upper class which makes his association very limited, he even unaware with Linus' mom.

He's the best in every movie he is in

3 things: 1, when Isabel first saw Rusty at the hotel and mentioned the Night Fox, he referred to him as being French before even knowing who he was. 2. In Oceans 13, Denny Shields referred to the Night Fox as some guy he saw "walking by" and not knowing his commentary about Danny being a good thief would offend him. But in Oceans 12, Toulour is clearly on the boat literally right next to him which is when Toulour admitted to getting upset about it 3. Each cutaway was a DIFFERENT chick. This guy was no slouch 👍👍

I never thought this was already game over for Toulour and it was not yet half the movie. Damn!

Thank you for having the good sense of including the ease in.

How could Touloure ( vincent cassell ) be suspicious about the fact that Ocean could eventually be better then him ? Ocean had 10 partners. They had teamwork, while Touloure has worked solo for a long time. And despite that, he has stolen larger and much more expensive objects then the Ocean's. How could he be so unsure.

It's the fact that the person who trained him to be such a great thief, who is considered the greatest thief of all time, told Toulour that Ocean's 11 could be considered better thieves.

There’s no comparison, seriously, Touloure had already executed dozens of heists SINGLE-HANDEDLY that were infinitely more impressive than anything Ocean’s crew had ever done with 12 guys, each with their own niche speciality. I think it’s no contest. They’re just...I guess more devious? Like he tried to play fair and they were like “lol screw you, no honor among thieves.” He’s definitely more talented and diverse in his talents - he speaks several languages, he’s well educated, can disarm security systems, and is incredibly agile, among other things. How they could say it’s up for debate is ridiculous, you can absolutely compare one theft to another. Touloure’s are indisputably better. His mentor probably just wanted to keep him humble. After all, I’d say he’s more of a thief, whereas Ocean et al. are mostly conmen.

@@nataliazecca6322 Eh, it’s hard to say that Touloure’s heists were better than the 11’s in Vegas. They robbed three casinos in a single night, remember, and each of the crew were among the best in their field. Not that Touloure isn’t good, mind you.

by Dynastie Crisis actually. But David Holmes did do all three soundtracks pretty much. The Ocean's Trilogy wouldn't be the same without the music.

It's impossible to compare. But the difference between them Night Fox is a thief and Ocean is a Con man. Nightfox can work alone cause he steals things under your nose. Ocean steals things in front of you.

The point of the con all along was to prick Tolour's inflated ego. They made him believe he was ahead of the game, but all along, he already lost the challenge before he even offered it. They reveal it while he was celebrating. It really fits the expression raining on someone's parade

Nice setup for the character. He doesn't even offer Danny a drink.

Redoine Faid is an IRL thief about as talented as the Night Fox is in this movie, and he's as good a prison escape artist. They JUST NOW caught the guy three months after his last break.
