I moved away from South Jersey long ago and am well on the downhill side of life so will probably never visit Ocean City again, but thanks for the memories, both happy and sad.

So far I’ve been to ocean city three times (going on 4) and this boardwalk doesn’t ever really get old

I grew up in Ocean City in the 50s and 60s. I still live in South Jersey and go “home” every chance Iget.In fact my wife and I spent last week there.

Same I go there every year for our family trip in August. I am so excited especially because my sure house is so close to the beach and we have bunnies in the yard at the shore house and we always like throw lettuce and carrots to them. And we get the same shore house every year.

Always good time there with family

This is wonderful thank you. I grew up in Philly and spent a few weeks in Ocean City every summer between about 1975 @1985. Is old SALT still open on the boardwalk? How about the varsity in?

@@emanwalks Yes, watching the video inspired me to do some research and yes it closed a few years ago I think. I workedthere one summer, We lived above Leon’s menswear which was at seventh and Asbury

Atlantic City has changed over the years years lol and not much activity goes on

Hmmm…. Maybe on video they may look somewhat similar, but trust me, they are very different! That’s what I love about the Jersey shore - Every beach town has its own characteristics. Thanks for the visit!

@@emanwalks lovely places ok but very humid in the summer, the boardwalk, adjacent shops, and amusements and the thrill rides like rollercoasters etc are the central theme of all these jersey shore beaches , fun places for sure but orientated towards getting your bucks , enjoyed it there tho , very pretty girls

Hi!! Yes, the plants with their deep roots on the beach help keep the sand in place and prevent further erosion.
