Had 10 years of so called talking therapy. Exactly as you describe. Pointless, useless and a waste of my time. All it's done is allowed my anxiety to become stronger and stronger. They won't accept it's health OCD. No it's health anxiety they say. I couldn't give two hoots what you name it, just HELP. The UK is horrendous unless you have the money to pay private.

@@OCDrecoveryNick health OCD. How can you know it's not a problem without visiting a doctor. Then a disclaimer is always put in saying, once you've been checked by your doctor. I'd be there daily for different problems at the moment. One minute the fear is lung cancer, then skin, then bowel. How can you do ERP without seeking medical attention?

Sometimes doctors say don't worry you are not the only one suffering from this problem, there are thousands of OCD sufferers like you etc. But they don't understand that, on the contrary, a person becomes even more stressed and says, oh my god, there are thousands of such patients like me, their lives are ruined. Even after recovery, you realize that thousands of people suffer from OCD, but do not realize it, and therefore continue their lives with this pain for years without receiving psychological support. It is a very bad disease. A person can even commit suicide. The continuation and deepening of the disease for years leads to serious situations. Even when treatment is started, the recovery process takes years. The slow and long recovery process creates disappointment in many patients. And they think they won't get better, but they have to consider that they have lived with OCD for years. Therefore, it is necessary to receive treatment with patience and be able to return to a normal life again, which is possible. Even in the most severe versions...

i found out that all my "Illness" are the result of this internal fight all my life, because even if my body hurts and burns as hell there is not real damage. how do i know because if i just let it be with the mindset that there is nothing wrong with me it goes await eventually, just to be replaced by something else that hurts, and all test came back negative, wonder how many cronic pains are there due to this

Ocd gets as real as it gets. You wouldnt comment on a video with ocd if you dont have ocd. Thats for sure. People without ocd dont go this path normally
