Great video. Showed a lot of grounds without jumping all over the place. Bonus points for a video without the usual dance club music in the background. Extra bonus points for Herb Alpert's "Rise". Now that's music!

Is this a nice place, sorry to be a pain but any best bits about the place and anything to do whilst there near playa del carmen, and what is this I hear about a lazy river opposite the actual hotel?

Nice place to vacation. Xcaret Park is next door and there is a "lazy river" with cenotes. There are two entrances to the park in walking distance of guest rooms. Here is a link for the park wesite. www.xcaret.com/

This is a great video tour! Thank you so much! I'm going there with my girlfriend to attend a wedding. Question: What are the 'free' activities that are included in the all-inclusive? It's hard to distinguish between the Xcaret stuff and free-rental equipment... For example, is the equipment and use of Archery gear, mini-golf, and snorkelling gear free? Thanks!

passgar I haven't been there but I believe they will be free if the all inclusive applies, and as a archer myself it is a 'have a go' which should mean you do it for fun then leave the kit to who ever owns it and if u do it again you go back, the archery equipment they should use for standard courses would cost just under £120 I would say so it a pricey thing to let people go with, and believe it or not a bow is a weapon so im sure you wont be allowed to have it in your possession,😂 hope that helped

Rulho M. I believe it depends on what package you get, either that or you get 1 day and 1 day only to visit the park, and I believe you have to pay for that day but not as much

If you pay the unlimited xcaret experience package will allow you to enjoy unlimited access to the Xcaret park during your whole stay in the hotel that it is next to Xcaret Park.

Yes, must purchase tickets on Hotel Property for the unlimited. $200 US Dollars. Also covers the Night Show.

The rooms were nice. We have been there two times and did not have any issues.

Guys is it true that the staff is not very well trained or kind? I´ve seen many reviews where the only positive reviews about the staff are those people that have gone in groups ... However, those couples (I´m planning to go for my honeymoon) that have gone say that the staff is rude... is it true?

NOT AT ALL!! We did not have any trouble with any staff members. Everyone was very polite and all greeted us with a hello. The only annoyance were the people trying to sell a time share and once they found out they were wasting their time that stopped too. We will stay again and bring others.

Existen lugares en el hotel q no puedes ir ademas no hay muchos mariscos y te molestan demaciado para q compres boletos para los parques y hasta por el telefono de la habitacion es decir todo es para q compres para poder ir a los parques q por cierto estan muy caros

Áreas del hotel de categoría royal son accesibles a los que pagan esa categoría. Los parques de Xcaret tienen un precio no bajo pero son parques eco- temáticos ,es como si fuera Universal Studios o Disney que sus precios no son baratos .

Those are probably Royal Club areas. Whenever I was asked to buy things just told them no and do not bother me anymore.
