I have been to this resort.6 times and I absolutely love it!! I have always had amazing service and not once did I feel the staff was shady. FYI there is also a seafood a la carte. It is located where are the beach buffet but obviously not buffet in the evenings

Hola, Olga :) tip is not mandatory or necessary but the staff does appreciate it. The people that usually get tipped are: chambermaid, minibar re-stocker, waiters, bartenders. Bring singles so you can tip if you want to. Ari 🙂
Hey I just watched your vid and I am going to this place in 2 weeks. I know it’s all inclusive, but do they cut you off if you have had to many drinks? Or can you drink as much as you want? Also does it take a while to get a drink?

They don’t limit anything that is included… they may cut you off if they see any safety issues for yourself or others but that’s it. The time it takes to get a drink depends on the line at the bar (there are a few) but usually not more than a few minutes

Jhon, voy a viajar en enero con mis papás y mi hermana. Ellos ya tienen 60, mi hermana y yo 25 y 32. Hicimos una reserva en el Riu República, pero viendo videos me di cuenta que es demasiado fiestero para mis papás. Cual puedes recomendarme? Hemos pensado en el Iberostar, el Occidental, pero no se cual mas por precios similares. Gracias!

So true!
In Royal Decameron, the chefs are different in every restaurants, and I realized that seafood is not their "forte" either. Not everybody is good at seafood. They either overcooked the shrimp, the lobster, or the Octopus. Overcooked fish, woww that is a hard to swallow thing. I really hate that.

Staff is terrible & shady. Staff would come up to us asking what we do for work & got mad at us when we told them to leave us alone.

Maybe is not good for the environment but at least I know the cup I’m using is cleaner than those plastic cups that who knows if they really wash them!🤣
