In this video I'll be taking off my Occidental leather big Oxys and putting together a drywall tool bag set up. In the process I'll give a review on the big Oxys tool and Fastener configuration. Also a POV look at the bags and then I look at the new setup.
These bags are good for framing drywall carpentry and all-around handyman use.

these are the songs I use in my videos (not in order)
intro- undertale -megalovania
cold driven -the wicked side of me
sidewise- this time
fivefold - know-it-all
cold Kingdom - the light
ravenface - be silent
just a side note it's not easy getting songs to use that are copyright free. I spent hours searching for music I can use in my videos. these are the best songs I found that have lyrics and a complete songs. So I'll probably use these in a lot of my videos. When I find better songs or create some myself I'll start using those. hope you guys enjoy comment below :-)

Important fact for anybody new to drywall. The occidental bags are actually some of the cheapest you can buy in the long term. I bought cheaper bags when I started out and the occidental bags just last at least ten times as much as the cheaper bags.

Those Occidental bags look very cool. They have to be very good quality if they have held up from all your drywalling and framing.

Those bags look so heavy, especially when they are full of fasteners. Good thing you have the hip pads.

I recently started drywall. My dad has been in the drywall business for 20 years already and I've helped him out a few jobs but I got serious with the work and have learned a lot from him. However, since we get paid by house rather than hour, (subcontractors) there is limited time to be taught with time and detail. It would be nice if you made an informational video of certain techniques when it comes to cutting, screwing, and measuring. Tips and tricks to advance faster and become a pro.

When you’re side cutting dont put too much pressure on your top finger or you’ll just burn your finger sliding across dont overthink when you’re cutting out a box or a fire sprinkler measurement always imagine your cuts and where they’re going to go and how they will go. Most importantly everything is just a flow you may be learning but dont take your sweet time cutting or your partner wont be so patient with you and dont let the big boys do your work the only real way you will ever learn is if you do it yourself . Fast will come by before you know everyone starts somewhere

That last setup you showed us is the only way to go. Definitely go with the drywallers tool pouch. Keep your tools in a proper pouch and seperate so they're easier to grab. never understood guys that carry tools in a nail pouch. Also, save your back and your waist. Get rid of unnecessary weight like a pack of blades, those should be in your tool box that you keep close by. Your knife should carry at least 10 blades inside which will last you at least a couple of days unless your hanging durock. Every little bit of weight helps over the years.

@@NomadicINK thanks. I know you're an experienced pro and you already knew that. I think that advice is geared a bit more toward the younger guys watching this video. Great video by the way. A lot of guys who may be just starting out may not know what type of tools and pouches they need. This a great teaching video.

Anyone have any tips or ideas of how to stay cooler when wearing all this leather in the heat? I'm always melting at work, walking around like I just climbed out of the washing machine. Any types of pants that breath better? What do you guys do?

Totally agree, same great layout and perfect size. It's my favorite bag I've ever. Just had to replace one that walked away (entire belt setup stolen)... and absolutly had to have the same bag. I went all out with a few killer accessories I've wanted this time tho.
