Always a good place for a walk. I go there often because I live near there. I have seen some big snakes there, many types of big birds, and turtles. I've yet to see an aligator there.

What are your thoughts on Sink Holes? I really like Ocala but then learned the soul type in this area is prone to the most sink holes in FL. I found a map and there have definitely been more in that area than elsewhere. Just curious how much fear there is with those who live there.

I would feel the same way coming from somewhere else. Kind of like hurricanes. Locals don’t even think about it. A sinkhole is a gradual thing in a lot of cases (maybe you notice your foundation starting to angle) than the scary, abrupt opening in the earth most people think about. I’ve never experienced one and locals wouldn’t consider it a common occurrence, albeit statistically we have them.

@@StevenBillington thanks for the input. I do notice that there are lots of KZread videos from locals news etc, but they all seem to talk about the same two or three extreme ones.
