"it/its" is a pronoun. Although it isn't commonly used for people, some people are more comfortable with it and uses that pronoun

Ok thanks you I'm not a native speaker and I thought "It" was impersonal and exclusively used for objects

@@the_apotecary_from_tf2 Normally, it is used for objects. But.... some people are not comfortable with the "normal" pronouns or think it doesn't fit how they feel about themselves, therefore, they may use something else, some people even invent their own pronouns or uses other words. It might seem weird, but it's not that big of deal. Some people uses "she/her" or "he/him" pronouns when talking about their car (even though they should use "it/its", as it's an object). So it's pretty common to change a bit the language. Hope it helped !
