In this session, Chris approached water with Pico a 15-year-old Rocky Mountain Rescued he is working with, and the horse was ready to do whatever possible to avoid water (rearing). Chris has been building his relationship from the ground up, so when things didn’t work under saddle, he got off, got the horse to get in the water and they continued their training session without anyone getting hurt.
