Frankly I'm not at all satisfied with the quality of combos here. I still plan to work on a CMV for RWBY. Hopefully I can figure out something interesting then.

Combo Notation and Transcript:
↖ ↑ ↗ = 7 8 9
←N→ = 4 5 6
↙ ↓ ↘ = 1 2 3
A = Light Attack
B = Medium Attack
C = Clash
D = Change
P = Partner (i.e. assist attack; hold direction 4 or 6 or stay neutral for different attack patterns)
Assist attacks under normal condition will be written as “【number + Character】” without quotation marks, with ‘number’ referring to 4, 5 or 6.
Assist attacks in Cross Burst (D+P) will be denoted as “【number + P】” without quotation marks. By holding on 4, 5 or 6 and releasing P, the partner character will perform assist attack accordingly.
Throw = B+C
Cross Burst = D+P (press D for ‘Active Change’)
Resonance Blaze = press P when tag bar is full and left with one character
[X] = hold button X

@@pikachuattack542 Yeah, basically. But it's more like a flashy final finish really since you can't access your Astral Heat at any time and it has to be met with certain conditions.

@@ShadowClaw92 it’s kinda like the Fatalities in Mortal Kombat except you can’t do it until you and the opponent are down to one character, and at any time. Also, unlike MK, there’s no blood, dismemberment, decapitation, disembowelment, and gore whatsoever. They’re just super cool to look at.

I just started playing and Yang is my favorite for now, its sad that most of her potential is in the rage stage but at least she's playable I don't really mind since i love when characters have comeback mechanics, and the Rage/Ressonance combo works wonders Its like UMvC3 Vergil with his DT/X-Factor combo but way less scary

I know this video is a bit old at this point, but these are some solid combos considering how limited Yang was initially. I feel if you do a newer Yang CMV, It would be really cool to start with a different song for her non-rage combos, and have I Burn burst in like in the game for the latter part of the vid, maybe ending with Armed and ready or the Jazz version of I burn when you show the astral combo. Just some fun thoughts.
I'm still going to call it Burn Knuckle though.

She's the only character I want from that whole 2.0 expansion package, so I didn't buy it... Unless one day they make every character purchasable individually.

I actually pulled off a pretty strong combo for yang & yu. A A A B B DownB JumpCancel A B C DownBackA C BackAssist A A A B DownB JumpCancel C BackDistortion AssistDistortion. It does about 12.5K and doesn't have to be done perfectly to still do a lot of damage.
Do you use a Controller or a Arcade Fight Stick/Etc?

Simply tap down (or down-forward or down-backward) before you jump.
