I didn’t have the dusting problem…i had smearing and clouding issues when using it with certain products that I don’t get with the drying aid. $10 to work easier, i’ll take it. Both have their pros and cons and i still use both

I've used both now and I feel like bead maker is smoother for sure, but it also attracts more dust. I like them both, and OG might slightly win because you don't need as much.

The not having to use as much is a big plus. I’ll keep both. They have their uses. I haven’t had the dust issue with bead maker tho

@@shadspov unfortunately I don't have a garage and it can get a little dusty where I live. I've just noticed more dust and lent have been attracted to it, but I wash my car every week so it's all good 👍🏼

Almost done with my blue BeadMaker. OGDA ready to go. Noticed too when Matt said he used less product. BM is only applied heavier during the first application. He did not have to use as much, especially with his drying process (blow dry then DA)

Wonder if Matt Was talking about DM. This was before it was released he mentioned it. Then again you probably know how secretive TRC gets with new products. A couple people asked and they gave the “i dont know what you’re talking about” answer. To me means something is in the works.

I’ve used it on my satin wrap on my trunk without any weird residue so i would assume the same for ppf

Depends if the car is outside or inside. If left outside in the elements a month or so if i had to guess

Towel needs to be washed with some TRC Rags to Riches MF detergent. Looks like you used too much bead maker as a drying aid with it.

It’s been in the wash with Rags twice…I’ve had the towel for 3.5 years. Its been a trooper but it’s time to retire it haha

For the price this product is a pass. No real need for “drying aids” and far to many superior options for toppers compared to this renamed version of slipstream. Also, not sure if you usually wash there or somewhere else but I would really try not to do my wash and drying process in direct sunlight. Just something to consider.

Using a pH neutral soap is fine, and i only wash really early or late in the day. I normally pull my car in the garage but it was cool out and I wasn’t doing a full detail
