Great Video, thanks for share that insights about metrics. Already save k8s-event-logger to test in my lab.
I use kube state metrics and adapters depending on what its deployed, for example prom adapters for postgres. For apps external metrics Im use metrics-adapter from zalando (im not sponsored by zalando), is a great adapter for custom metrics. And of course grafana with custom dashboards. For monitoring prom itself I have a dummy deployment that always fails, this to test if prom with alertmanager are working fine. If I dont receive alerts for this fake deployment Im check what is wrong with prom. Regards
