Idea for this channel: Phillies "Firsts". First HRs at w ball park. First walk off at any ball park. First K for pitchers. First postseason walk off. Conversely, last ABs of Phils legends, etc.

Those good defensive Mike Easler plays were so rare. He was such an atrocity (by MLB standards at the time) that when in gym class, whenever someone dropped a ball they were called "a regular Mike Easler".

:31 I was at this game. Utley hit 2 homers his first 2 at bats and they were both on 3-0 counts. The same guy caught both home runs. It was friggen insane. Torrential rain came around the 7th-8th inning and they played through it. There were huge puddles on infield and in the outfield. Up til then I had never seen an mlb game played in such horrible weather.

Tom Mccarthy is clearly a world class play caller, I just think his HR calls are sooooo repetitive. It's one thing to have a "catch phrase" but his calls are always always the same unless it's some way out of the ordinary situation. "In the air to left field, going back on it is blank, it is....gone".

Good game... let's go eat!
