Captain Blood was a FANTASTIC movie. A brilliant Errol.
Great movie throughout. Watch for a good, serious performance by Errol Flynn, at his best as an actor when he's not being an incorrigible wise guy. Scenes, one after the other, are suspenseful, thanks to Raoul Walsh's direction, Franz Waxman's musical score, and Warner Bros.' attention to detail. Perfect blend of believable action and military/aviation photography. Absolute lack of phony jungle sound stages and cheap miniaturization. Regarded as one of the best WW2-era films. Worth the time.
I've seen this movie on and off for 60 years. Now some Greedy Bastards are charging to see it.
Age is just a number. You are only as young or as old as you feel.
A great movie.

Hey the guy with the glasses is Henry Hull, who was in Boy's town with Spencer Tracy. He was tracy's friend who helped him finance things.

+Terry UniGeezer Peterson. Hull always stole every scene he was in. A great character actor.
Where can I see this film again? Have not find it in Netflix.
A film of some controversy & a pioneer in exaggerating America's martial contribution with the inevitable diminution or even total omission of other countries' efforts. One line-"We should head north, I hear there might be a few Brits somewhere over there" caused outrage in Great Britain with audiences walking out of cinemas in disgust. It also generated one of the best wartime jokes to the effect of; British Soldier One: I see that Yank has got a Purple Heart on his chest. British Soldier Two. Yes. He got it for walking past a cinema while Operation Burma was being shown!! If nothing else the film shone a light on some savage fighting. Also Hollywood realised their misrepresentation of events & belatedly rereleased the film in 1952 with a postscript reflecting British & other participation. As for Errol Flynn he was very good in this film reflecting the fact that he had had a 15 year apprenticeship from Jack Warner in Hollywood! His performance in Objective Burma was so much better than some of his earlier, quite frankly, wooden efforts. RIP The Tasmanian Devil......
Perché non pubblicare il film intero anche a pagamento invece di spezzoni è in lingua italiana

The wearing of helmets in a humid Climate not the best of gear The two gurkhas wore bush hats
Whoever pasted and patched excerpts ruined the movie with the guys going blah, blah, blah while talking about nothing. I thought I could press the button and watch Objective Burma. You guys should simplify so some one can watch the movie. What you guys did was a total flop and waste of peoples time with your cut and paste movies that you ruined the movie and you should call it , " Objective Flop." Your podcast sucked!
This is one of the worst war films ever made. The British and Empire effort is completely ignored. Anyone with no knowledge of the Burma campaign would think that Errol Flynn beat the Japanese by himself. The film was rightly withdrawn from British cinemas following the disgust of the British audiences.
