The sound Obina is talking about is actually not the intake sound but the sound that comes from the turbo releasing the unused compressed air when the accelerator is released because the throttle is now closed and the air has to escape because the turbo blades dont stop rotating when the throttle is released due to the high speeds. And that's why the sound is heard when gears are changing or accelerator peddle is released.

Slight Correction on the Intake thing...that Stu stu sound comes from Compressed air rushing back to the turbo compressor blades when you release the throttle and it partially closes
