I have an Obi wan list that has yet to lose, in fact so far it's absolutely crushed each game I've played it in. That said I don't actually collect Republic and this is only online. I'm sure it could be beaten, and it's super tough to play, but when it works, it's crazy strong lol

@@kal_paints I have Rebs and Imps, but my main faction is CIS. I love the droid legions and droidekas :p just missing asajj at the moment.

How bad of an idea is it to use oil based paint on minis?

Not a bad idea at all my friend. There's alot of good tutorials on how to use oil paints for miniature painting on youtube as they have different properties- I've seen alot of people actually never go back to acrylics once they start to use oils. Just make sure you prime them first!! Thanks for your comment!

@ct-ys3mo absolutely, it's recommended to prime your models when using any type of paints. It helps with initial paint cohesion. If you have been finding that your models have been coming up well without priming though then by all means go for it

@@kal_paintsI mean for some it has been nearly 4 years and the paint still holds just fine🤷‍♂️ although painting is quite the hassle having to put on every single paint in 3 layers with fine brushes😅

@ct-ys3mo well in that case, if your painted minis have stood the test of time then priming is optional :)
