I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that's the way I like it!

Only done India the once and it's still, many years later, hard to describe authentically to anyone who hasn't been. Some of the most beautiful places i have ever seen and some of the hardest things to see, often within metres of each other. Great series, capped off by this hotel which sums up the sheer wonder of the place.

The hardest things are thanks to 200 yrs of loot British did to once richest nation with 24% GDP, India. India was richest nation in world before British oppressed, looted, colonised india for 200 yrs and made poor. British owes India 45 trillion dollars in reparations. Though india is again growing bck from 99% poverty British left to 14% now. India has today become 5th largest economy. Will soon grow further and attain it's past glory

My dad lived in India for a while back in the early 2000s. We went to Agra and he said we stayed in a Taj. I remember the feeling I got at the Taj Mahal, but some 20 years later I am hoping to go back and I think you’ve just persuaded me to stay here. The whole video was just wonderful ❤

India has to the land of textiles and design. That inlay desk is beautiful. Very labor intensive to make something like that. I like the color scheme of the room. Sometimes all the vibrant colors can be overwhelming. This is my kind of relaxed room, and after a long dusty day with crowds of people at the Taj Mahal, it is refreshing to return to a room like that! It is good to know that one can take a golf cart to the Taj. This is truly a life time trip that you never ever forget. I wonder if Princess Diana stayed here too?. She fell in love with India and even has one of her ancestors that was Indian, an Indian woman that married in the 17th or 18th century when India was part of the British crown. i am surprised the Taj Mahal was not lit up at night. Truly a magnificent building. i am surprised you got all those shots without any people?? 30:23

This looks like a great "once in a lifetime" splurge, with those incredible views of the Taj. I'd recommend booking the hotel during a full moon. The Taj Mahal simply glows under the moonlight, looking more like a lite cream puff mirage than a solid marble structure. You will scarcely believe your eyes. We got lucky and saw her this way back in 1991, thanks to lucky timing and a resourceful rickshaw driver who insisted on taking us to the best viewing spot, down of course some dark and scary path. Staying at this hotel, you can avoid the anxiety and benefit fully from the dreamy view 🙂

India and everything about it has always called to me, I am unsure why I am drawn to everything from the music, the fabrics, the smell of things from there even their beautiful temple artifacts.....I like to think I lived there in a past life and am so soothed by my prized few things that I have collected over the years....Real not touristy things to have as keepsakes. I wish you had got the opportunity to visit Oberoi Vanyavillas. It is one of their most expensive & exclusive property. I was hoping you would do a Wildlife Safari at the famous tiger reserve, Ranthambore and stayed at Vanyavillas because it is hardly a two hour drive from Jaipur. Secondly, I wish you had shared a small remembrance for P.R.S Oberoi as he passed away on 14th November. You are a fan of his ideology & creation. Lastly, I wish India gives you more hotels to bring you back and do more reviews.

Sensational video. Wonderful hotel. I went to the Taj Mahal in September and visited Agra for the day only before returning to Delhi. A real missed opportunity not to stay here. I don’t think I was aware of the hotel at the time albeit bizarrely I was staying at the Oberoi in New Delhi. This is the best video to date and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. thank you so much for coming to our country and making this reviews. You described India in the exact perfect words in the beginning of this video. If you know India, you would also know that less than 0.01% of our population will ever have the opportunity to stay at such places. This video was interesting and more so because Agra holds a very special place in my heart. I just wanted to say that Agra is full of monuments of Mughal Architecture. Taj Mahal is the gem of course but there is also Baby Taj, Akbar's Tomb and Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri, which are not to be missed.

What an incredible experience! It is the best of what India has to offer. i have been falling in love with India through your videos. India is magical with that spectacular view of the Taj Mahal in the background. India is a land of paradoxes. I am glad you showed me this stunning local. I think i can afford to do one night, as it is truly a lifetime experience! i would probably arrive as soon as they allow you to check in and leave at the last minute to take full advantage of my stay. Just to be able to see the Taj Mahal from the balcony for hours taking in the view and then visiting it the next morning really makes it worth it. Thanks for sharing. i am going to miss India. I throughly enjoy your videos with its wealth of information. Now, i need to work on preparing for my trip to see the Taj Mahal. When i first tasted Biryani on my flight into Mumbai i though i was so lucky to be alive to have eaten it. It smelled heavenly as the crew started to hand it out. I now feel so sorry for all the people in the world that will die without ever eating the dish. It might sound amusing to say that, but i truly mean that! And now, here is the splendor of the Taj Mahal in all its glory. All around the world each country has tried to outdo each other with incredibly designed buildings but the Taj Mahal will always remain the Mona Lisa to the Architectural world.

Land of paradox coz 200 yrs of loot British did to once richest nation with 24% GDP, India.

Excellent video production Kevin! I've been enjoying your content. I don't know about you, but aside from the beautiful Taj Mahal hotel, one thing caught my eye, min 6:28, kites! I'm a sucker for making and flying kites while growing up in Malaysia. Now living in US, I'm still a huge fan of them, all shapes and sizes as it reminds me of my childhood.😁

Hi Kevin. This, without doubt, is the best video report I have ever seen. I got very emotional seeing the Taj Mahal🏰 once again. I was there in March 2019 and I loved it. It is the most serene and beautif building I have ever seen. It was so peaceful even with ghunders of other visitors walking about. The hotel was fabulous and I can understand why you gave 100%. I must go back some day but just can't afford a hotel like this on a fixed income of pensions. I could go on all day about the Taj. Thank you for brining me this. Take care❤❤

Monsoon (or the rainy season) arrives in that subtropical part of North Indian plains by Mid to late June and stays upto mid of September, picking up between mid of July and end of August. Before that, early/ Mid April upto mid of June is summer in India, with scorching heat and all that leasing to temperatures climbing to mid forties on the centugrade scale. As rain cools down everything a bit, things are not as unbearavly hot between Mid June and mid September as it is between early/mid May and mid June, still it can get hot on cloudy days in the rainy season when it does not rain. India has a rainy seaaon between the summer and the autumn and is called the "Monsoon".

So i cringe every time somebody takes the name of Oberoi or Taj (or any other like ITC or Leela) in the same breath. 😅 Great video...not sure I can ever afford this Oberoi though, but been to Oberoi Grand (Kolkata) and a couple of Trident hotels and loved each one of them, mainly for the staff and the services. Hope you are back in India again...soon. Good luck!
