I also have denounced Delta and it was such a relief. I am thanking God for scales that have fallen off of my eyes. I pray that you will continue to be bold and unashamed of the gospel. Indeed it now for us to reach back and inform others that are under the false gods.... There is only one TRUE and LIVING GOD.... I am so thankful for my Lord and Jesus Christ!!!!!

When my Grandmother told me I didn't need to do this because Jesus paid it all, I said, Granny it's not that deep, lol. Well, the lol was on me when God called me to denounce my letters in 2018!! It truly is deeper than we know! I appreciate God calling me out!! Bless you Sister.

That process of purging is hard sometimes but it was great that you went through with it all. God bless you, so happy you are set free! Bringing that stuff into your home disrupts your spirit and we, as a result, are unable to progress in certain areas for that reason. I couldn't even give some of that paraphernalia away to others for that reason! It's deadly and demonic just sitting in the corner so it went to the trash where it belongs!! PRAISE GOD for you, I'm an exgreek and soSoSooo happy God brought me out! I am happy for you, too!

I wanted to pledge Delta in college and even got as far as the interview but didn’t make it. Even before going through rush, the interview, etc. Something didn’t feel right. I asked God to lead to me to the best outcome and after not being chosen I understood that as His answer and that it was not of Him.

When I was younger I wanted to pledge Delta, but as an adult, I'm glad I didn't. I don't think that I could be a part of any organization where I have to be careful what I say and do when around those who are on the outside.

@@rishardasamaria I wanted to do it very badly. I was enticed by the things I saw and what I knew would came with it. I became very knowledgeable of the fraternities and sororities. What I realized was a few things: God was really protecting me bc once you decide to pledge within any organization you become (soul) tied to it. Also with those oaths they carry such heavy weight in the spirit to the point that once you take them and bow down to what THEY consider their sacred alter, the only way that you can get out is ONLY by way of the Spirit of the living God. I’m soo blessed that I can see clearly now bc there was once a time that I could not see what I had been trying to get my soul yoked up to. Rejection truly is Gods protection.

God bless my sister in Christ! I denounced AKA in 2019. Most freeing experience ever. Also the most trying because I experienced a lot of backlash, lost “friends”, got ridiculed, the whole 9 yards smh but obedience is better than sacrifice. Amen 🌻🙏🏾

Thank you for sharing your story, I wonder if being in a sorority opened you up to the new age more. Like maybe the spiritual world had more of a doorway in and that might’ve lead you more down that path later on. Idk I’m just thinking out loud🤔

to answer this question… yes. there are things in the spiritual realm called “open doors” that new age spirituality feeds off of: the spirit of rejection, pride, lust (for material things), and so many more. Some of those spirits were planted as seeds during that journey, and following it, it made me more vulnerable to the enemy.

What are the errors? Besides KJV is not even the original format; so where are the errors in the Hebrew version?

I respect your spiritual walk and your decision , but I am a Minister, member and I work in chaplaincy of the sorority. With everything is BALANCE. I am sorry that this was your experience, but I have experienced seeing the Holy Spirit work while others are led to Christ. My chapter never have boasted in anyone failures. I have genuine experienced SISTERHOOD in different areas and locally.I just suggest ANYTHING we go after in life be lead by God and this based on anyone that decides to join either join any sisterhood. Be blessed in your walk .

I am not announcing MINISTER...as a heircharhy or some privileged position ...If the word " minister" offends , one must go the source of their anxieties...there are faithful servsnts that reverence his or her calling"..I only mentioned it according to the original post . Quite frankly. I have paid a dear cost for my calling , nevertheless a personal spiritually experience should not be grounds to every cast stones on anyone or organization. Everyone has their right but God is our biggest VINDICATOR so HE does not need any help..

This is garbage! I never had to sacrifice anything for Delta. The time i gave to Delta was time that i spent performing public service. If Delta is doing something that conflicts with church, i choose church. It sounds like all of those who have 'denounced' Delta Sigma Theta just unfortunately pledge chapters where those in charge allowed anything to go on. I do know that horrible things go on in some Greek pledge period, at which time you need to put an end to it then. I do know that I pledges have been severely injured and have even died, and these things should never have happened. I pledged Delta in 1980, back when stuff was CRAZY. My chapter was pretty low key and concentrated mainly on learning info, becoming sisters, and having fun as one. There was NOTHING demonic about my pledge period and nothing that went against my Christianity or salvation. I mean really, it's a club, it's an organization, it's a sisterhood...that's all it ever was to me. Some people are weak minded and will go along with anything. Now people want to have a problem with throwing up the Delta trying to say it's like JayZ does and he's illuminati. Well, he was throwing up a DIAMOND, not a triangle. And Deltas were throwing up the DELTA (which is actually the greek letter) way before he was even born. And us having a RITUAL has nothing to do with Satan or demons unless you make it that. Definition of ritual: a religious or solemn ceremony. I have no siblings and no children. My line sisters are real, and I thank God for them. They are all saved and believe in Jesus Christ as I do. They have stepped up for me on SEVERAL occasions, and I would not have them if it were not for Delta. It's kind of like, "Make that money, don't let the money make you." I'm gonna be that Delta, and I'm never gonna let Delta or any other earthly thing make me.
