It was not an 'Igbo' killing that happened to the Northern leaders in 66. It was military. It was not even a majority Igbo that took part. And you want apology? The media are enabling the tribalizing of our politics. Either the media men are not properly trained or they do not understand their role in the development of the country. You don't give people the room to dwell on politics, politics and all these nonsense. Pin them down on discussions around issues of governance, development etc. Ask them questions about what they think about the state of the nation and the capacity of the candidates to change things. He is making efforts to set Igbos against Obasanjo over what even Gowon, an Hausa ,man started. Obasanjo only played the roll he was sent to do as a Soldier. He was sent with a message from his Commander= ''Go and conquer'',, he could not have done otherwise in that circumstance. There is no war without casualty. Thank God we survived it. We are today, and doing our best to reconcile, rehabilitate and reconstruct ourselves. I am an Igbo man, from Nkanu East, in Enugu State. My father died during the war. I never knew him because I was not born then. Since Obsanjo failed to carry out the 3Rs,then you people should do it.

Obasanjo is not acceptable in the South West, we can't forget many evil things he did. Remember he never won an election in his hometown in his 2 terms as president. We can't forget the unknown soldiers who killed Funmilayo Kuti, the Ali Mongo crisis, the killing of bola Ige under his watch, the land grabbing at Ota, the disrespect for to rule of law, and so many others. Obi association with the Ibop and Biafra is also killing his face in the north.

Nigeria is no longer a viable option. But 2023 will decide that. Mahdi Shehu has a right to his opinion. One thing is important; He is just one out of the 200m Nigerians. We should all go out and vote for an Aspirant of our choice not tied to the opinion of others.

Nigerians are yearning for reconciliation and unity and from simple understanding these crimes were committed by our elder statesmen and I think there is nothing wrong with the reconciliation starting from them so that the generation of leaders which of course will start from Peter obi can run without strings. Secondly after his interview I again listened to Peter Obi’s response especially on what he stated as how Peter Obi’s administration made policy for all Northers in Anambara State to wear special tags in order to live and do business in the state which was only reversed only by Kwankwasho Intervention; of which PO stated categorically that it was a LIE as he never met Kwankwasho while in office neither was there any of such policy to begin with. What an absurd audacity to lying! Such an embittered individual with inciting lies is very dangerous to Nigeria union and worst still advancement of his so called region.
