So with calamity weapons you will SHRED vanilla bosses but calamity bosses will still be challenging, and that's because calamity is trying to be more extreme that vanilla, so calamity is balanced, but if you play it with other mods... oof the balance

No, it’s actually because she can’t take damage if said weapon being used against her deals more then 10% of her total health. Or, at least I believe it’s 10%, but I haven’t checked in a while to see it that’s true.

Plot twist: it's actually the Obamium who let the powerful calamity bosses to survive that long in order to observe their full power and give the prism a thrill of the fight.

when you summon scal it creates a cube made of indestructable blocks. at the top corners there are brimstone hearts once you kill all of the you start damaging scal at some point in the battle it will spawn her brothers you just need to kill them when scal gets very low she spawn the brimstone hearts again at the top corners. you destroy them and kill scal.

It does work on the Supreme Calamitas. The worm is literaly unkillable. There are orbs flying at the top of the arena that you must destroy. If they are destroyes, the worm despawns and you will be able to damage calamitas
