OMG - love this! I added freeze dried fruit (apple, strawberry, blueberry, banana) to my oatmeal bombs. Purchased them at the Dollar Store. Added 6 whole pieces of fruit to each bomb ( they were larger than marshmallows). Each 16 gram bag of fruit yielded 10-12 (3") Oatmeal Bombs. Used almost steaming hot milk to speed up cooking process - kids won't wait ... Thanks for the great idea!😅

The first time I tried making HCBs, one of the flavours I experimented with was oatmeal. I used white chocolate for the bomb shells and the inside is banana oatmeal with a pinch of cinnamon and a dash of salt to balance out the sweetness because I find the quaker oats flavoured oatmeals super sweet. I love it! It's instant brekky for me! 💖

@@TheStationBakery it’s the first time I attempt to make these or any bombs for that matter and omg it sounds way easier than it is. The borders keep cracking and I got wholes so I keep melting it all over again. I sure am not an expert and it’s really hard to make them I find. I hope practice makes perfect.

Practice definitely makes perfect! Tips for the edges, make them a little thicker and make sure they are completely set. You can do it!!

I’m not a fan of chocolate oatmeal either but I will say i make oatmeal cookies with raisinets and they’re my best friend’s favorites now. I want to try making these with Nestle Pumpkin Spice truffle chips. I saw another channel use them for cocoa bombs and thought they would be perfect for this!

I ordered the full size bomb molds and also the mini ones. The mini ones are here but I'm waiting on the big ones. I can't wait to try some of your recipes. I'm not a coffee person so hot cocoa and tea are my go to drinks in the cold weather. I'm also not a white chocolate person but I figure I can substitute milk or dark in most of the recipes although it won't be as pretty as yours. Great videos.

In the microwave. 1 minute, then 30 second intervals as needed.

I love the idea my daughter loves chocolate chip oatmeal. I think for me I would do white chocolate an dried apples an craisins. Butterscotch chips or peanutbutter chips an dried apple and raisins.

Is this regular oatmeal? Is that why its going in the microwave to actually cook the oats or having to leave it sit out? Everyone who makes these use instant oatmeal being you just add hot water to that. So just curious if you've tried the flavored instant and which one you prefer?

Good idea for picky breakfast eaters. Maybe not add so much sugar as the chocolate provides more than enough. I like bacon in oatmeal, not sure if that would be good with milk chocolate, maybe some maple flavored white chocolate.

If you can't get out to get instant oats I believe there is a shortcut where you can pulse the regular oats in a food processor until they're broken down a little, but not ground. Hope this helps.

@@TheStationBakery I saw it on a healthy cooking channel. They were making there own instant oats. We just finished making cocoa bombs. Chocolate, white an butterscotch. I got cocoa, white cocoa an cider powder. Then went crazy with mix ins, crushed candy cans, andies mints, York peppermint patties, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, oreos, hazelnut cookies, coconut, freeze dried apples bananas an strawberries, toffee, sprinkles, marshmallows... I dont even think that's all of them. Then I bags nutella, peanutbutter, thick caramel an vanilla frosting(for bday cake). I let my daughter go nutz, she knows what flavors fo together. She said them in 3 days working all day. Bagged them an marked what they were an just mailed them to family. We'll so some more for friends.

Hey! Love the idea will have to try! Also I really want to know how do you wash your molds! It seems that no matter how many times I wash them they always have a greasy film. I've heard of using alcohol or vinegar but I've also heard that they may damage the molds so... I don't know what to do. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I should do a video on this to help some others too because I get the question a lot! I find the best way for me is washing it under super hot water and then shaking off all the excess water and air drying. Thank you for asking and hopefully it’ll help someone else too!

They’re so good and fun! I’m not selling these so I haven’t figured out a price.

I put sugar in my oatmeal. So maybe a candy /sugar ball might work out better. You can even add dried fruits inside with the oatmeal.
