I love milk soaps. I've tried almond milk, oat milk and coconut milk so far. They feel great on the skin and I find the lather is so creamy and luxurious.

Hi I love this recipe and definitely will try it as my daughter suffer with eczema. I’ve made one with grounded oats and is nice. Haven’t tried any milk in my soap yet so the oat milk one will be my first milk soap 😊 This little loaf mould is such a nice size. Just wondering where can I buy it?

Hi! I love the concept of using oatmilk in soap which sounds fantastic! Just wondering about the temperatures when mixing the oils and lye. I've made a batch with milk before with both liquids at around 25C, so is it fair to say around 20-30C would be an ideal temperature for mixing in the lye and oil as the sugars in the oatmilk will slightly heat it up? Thank you!

Lye in ice and milk before trace? What temperature is safe to add the milk?

Ice is a popular option for using with your lye and speeds the process up. You can freeze your milk if you prefer doing it that way but this way works very well. This is a plant milk not goat milk so reacts differently due to the different proteins etc.

Would ice work as well if using honey

We buy them online from S Korea. There are quite a few companies that sell them. Look up soap mold 500g S Korea and you will see them :)

You could switch it for a palm oil free soap recipe if you prefer and still use the milk etc
