Very nice I will be on Ovation Of The Seas in March 2020 my first cruise on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship as I only had once cruise before this on a P&O ship and absolutely loved it so I am going again for another cruise.

I certainly will it will an interesting experience on such a big ship and I have been on another cruise line and I was on a smaller ship and my experience was good one there too

@@vikolevy no I didn’t end up on Ovation back in 2020 as the pandemic hit at that time and the cruise industry was shutdown, on the flip side I got one on Ovation this March with my sister
We stayed in a room like this with 2 teenagers, mom and dad. Plenty of room and comfortable considering you spend 98% of your time outside the cabin.

Definitely ample amounts of space. We will say, as the suites get larger and have more spectacular views you tend to spend more time in the room together.

You have to remember that all the suites come with added value of additional amenities. If you have no desire for those added amenities, then a balcony could work just fine.

@@HarrTravel In most ships, why not split the room in two, staying in an inner cabin with a snoring person is torture, but it would be great if it was divided by a soundproof wall. I have to buy an extra room and stay for one person and I pay twice the price.
oooh the memory's are comin back from my sailing aboard the oasis of the seas with my family in ajoining staterooms 14550 and 14552, i still have my seapass card from 2017 and i have it on my lanyard wiht my Liberty seapass card i just got like just over a month ago both wonderful experiences.

@@HarrTravel gonna start a collection of crusies hope to one day have up to 800 of them royal carribean sea pass cards, on a side note i have a question, So i still cruise wiht my parents hope fully 2 more before i leave for college, but so currently we have 7 points for gold, so when i go to book my first cruise with say my future spouse, do the points i earned with my parents carry over or do i start fresh? i recon i would start fresh.

We have been advised that it is not guaranteed. I have been able to do it for the most part on the Boardwalk and Central Park balconies, but ocean facing balconies have been more hit or miss. Thanks for the question.

The bed can be split into two and distanced? Siblings; would not like to sleep together lol. I couldn't see in the alternate configuration.

Unfortunately there were not. I usually bring my Mophie (battery charger) and use that at night. One of the quirks of an older ship for sure.

Currently staying in this room, this room has no fridge its a cooler, wish i had a suite instead or the ultra spacious room, its a bit tight for my family if four. Especially on a 7 day cruise, but we're mashing it work.

We sail in March in a expanded balcony room. Is it much different than this other than the size of balcony?

My understanding is that all of the carpets were replaced. It looked like that to us while cruising.

The price of this room is pretty decent , About 1200 for 5 days for 2 people. It might be smaller than other videos i've seen but at least there's a place to sleep

It's a great size for someone who doesn't want to spend as much time in the room, but still wants the ability to relax on their balcony.
Is room service free on royal
The balcony chairs look uncomfortable. No reclining at all. I don't know if there is anyway on board if you can request on board where at least the back reclines. It just got off Cunard and the balcony chairs were very comfortable with reclining backs
If you are in the cabins at the very front of the ship (that sleep 6 people), how is the motion?

It is one of the worst places on the ship for motion. But that only matters if your are in regions where you have high seas.

Hey Steven, Taylor here (filmer / editor) I use a Sony A7RIII with the 16-35 GM lens, mounted to a Moza Aircross 2 gimbal. Audio is from a Rode Link wireless lav kit. And while I'm at it, I edit in Premiere Pro and do some elements in Ae for post.

That decision will be a very personal one for the foreseeable future. I believe that ships will start sailing in August, but it may not be the right decision for some people for quite some time.

It happens sometimes, doing 12 room tours in a row can turn your mind to mush.
For the price that you're paying for that room it is awful. The closet is too close to the bed and leaves very little room. The toilet in the bathroom is tight. Why is it between the shower and the counter space?
