+namozza I am sure a lot of people thought this way about themselves, but not in those exact words. You may have not reached every single personal goal in your life, but what's the point of crying about it. Basically learn from the mistakes and a few failures in your life. His words just sounds better in a song!

Well when you're in your mid 30's approaching 40 I think it's a good idea to listen to this song to remind you you're old and not young anymore . F*** how I wish I was in my 20's, I had my whoe life ahead of me, but you can't turn back time and it's sad. At least listening to this motivates you to live to it's fullest even though you're old, not that you need an incentive such as this song to realise this @@sratus

the history of this song is interesting. They wrote it as a retort to the popular grunge music (specifically Nirvana) and the dourness of it. The filmed the first video in England before April 1994 cause they took awhile to take off here. This is the American version filmed after Cobain's death and the song takes on a whole different tone with that in mind. This version they are highlighting the heroes of their youth that died too young, like Cobain did. Those artists who are gone will live forever through their music.

Or John Lennon? Everyone seems to ignore the fact that by far Liam’s greatest idol was the Walrus himself. They would literally put a giant photo of Lennon on stage during the end of song, and Liam would seemingly pray to his image. Cobain on the other hand, was a mediocre songwriter. Who Noel has praised, and Liam has rightfully poked fun at.

No its not its about two people who know the score who are the same jack the lad types and they say to each other were gonna live forever it's nothing to do with other artists dying young. "Maybe you're the same as me we see things they'll never see" the hints in the chorus and that's what noel said himself. He wrote it after hearing that depressing song by Nirvana about life being terrible smacked out of his head. And noel thought he'd write something uplifting after hearing it. Noel said about Kurt "Coming over here smacked out of his head" and that's the only link to that. It has nothing to do with him dying young or him. And what do you mean "This version" It's a video and that's it..

World will never have this level of music again. There are no more artists that put their soul and fellings in their songs. 70s 80s and 90s. Could you imagine this ages fading away? I try to run away from past as much as I can. So... I listen to some music like this and all good memories come back. How can I like the actual poor music and forget what I am? Theres no way.

Maybe I don't really wanna know How your garden grows 'Cause I just want to fly Lately, Did you ever feel the pain? In the morning rain As it soaks you to the bone Maybe I just want to fly I want to live I don't want to die Maybe I just want to breathe Maybe I just don't believe Maybe you're the same as me We see things they'll never see You and I We're gonna live forever I said maybe I don't really wanna know How your garden grows 'Cause I just want to fly Lately, Did you ever feel the pain? In the morning rain As it soaks you to the bone Maybe I will never be All the things that I want to be But now is not the time to cry Now's the time to find out why I think you're the same as me We see things they'll never see You and I We're gonna live forever Maybe I don't really wanna know How your garden grows 'Cause I just want to fly Lately, Did you ever feel the pain? In the morning rain As it soaks you to the bone Maybe I just want to fly I want to live I don't want to die Maybe I just want to breathe Maybe I just don't believe Maybe you're the same as me We see things they'll never see You and I You and I are gonna live forever We're gonna live forever Gonna live forever Gonna live forever Gonna live forever Gonna live forever Gonna live forever

This song totally rules.!!!Looking at it objevctively ...really Oasis was the band of the 90's and with "Heathen Chemistry" strong contention for band of the lost 2000's. Who cares about sibling issues, its all about the music, damnit!!!! This band knows music !!!

Although I probably prefer the normal version of the Live Forever music video, I really like how this one pays tribute to such legends as John Lennon, Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Bob Marley and whoever else I might've missed. Just like they did in the live performance of the song on the second night at Maine Road.

"Era l'epoca delle band che cantavano solo di come cazzo erano tristi e di come volevano morire...Io no, a me piace vivere e non volevo che i giovani si fottessero la vita con quel pessimismo...Live Forever è un inno alla vita, è l'inno alla vita di intere generazioni" Noel Gallagher sei un fottutissimo genio!

This Is The Soundtrack Of My Life !!!!! Live Forever is the Hymn of my generation, I have it as one of the best and biggest songs of Oasis. Noel Gallagher reached its apex in composition, lyrics and melodically speaking. This music is practically a manifesto of life that becomes something transcendent. If Liam Gallagher said something about this song, he would say it's something Biblical, that's right. Music and our memories echoed forever in eternity. At the end of my life you can be sure that I want you to play this song because it has a divine representation. To all fans of Oasis MADFERIT !!!

In four minutes, Oasis captured the feeling of what I like to call "indifferent apathy," where a person is too cynical to bare their emotions yet they do. It's sorta like Nirvana's "Lithium" or Green Days' "Long view." Heartbroken but not desperate enough to even say anything.
