@@zadkielladezd4726 Of course, in any case, I don't know where the lack of inspiration came from in the early 2000s for Oasis. They still had good songs. They could have simply found new levels of performance, a further development of what was in the 90s. It's actually a shame that SOTSOG didn't have such an impact. I think this album just needed time to grow

he actually wrote this because of the panic attacks he got from the orgy of drugs he took in early oasis times. Hence the title gas panic. It's litrally about how he was feeling during the panic attacks hence the whole enemies all know my name paranoia as well as the family not seeming so familiar which can result from panic attacks, waking up not knowing who you are or who anyone you're with is temporarily

Noel has said it in interviews that was having some after quitting drugs when writing Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' 'This song is about Noel's panic attacks when he was hooked on drugs. Basically about wanting to get his life back on track "If there's a god would he give another chancer and hour to sing for his soul". I think Noel sounds better on this than Liam does. his voice is somehow more brooding, more sinister.

2:55 i love this element to the guitar solo whatever it is... it just seems far more fitting... i think oasis suffered from overproduction from noel trying to get a perfect album sound.. this is how Gas Panic! should be

It's not Liam's version. It's just a final version of the song with Liam's vocals.

I remember hearing him say it was about panic attacks he was having cause he was so out of it all the time, he never saw his family and the enemies were his dealers, as they were the ones obviously supplying him, all knowing who he was and making things worse,

Either of the brothers should sing this song live now, I believe Liam's gonna have a hard time but Noel may perfectly nail it he still can reach those high notes.
