CNN’s Erin Burnett talks to a panel about the far-right network OAN retracting a false story about Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels. An attorney for OAN didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. The panel also discusses Hunter Biden’s legal team sending a letter to Fox News that alleges conspiracy to defame and unlawful publication of “hacked” images. CNN has reached out to Fox News for comment on the letter.

In order to sue for libel you have to give the outlet a chance to retract the article... if they do, you don't have a case. Irresponsible outlets broadcast the falsity in prime time then put the retraction out in the middle of the night.

I have to believe that any moderates who voted for Trump in 2020 won't vote for him in 2024. Anybody that took an oath to defend the Constitution cannot vote for Trump in good conscience. I have to admit it serves the media to play the race close, not just for viewership purposes, but even for political purposes. I would bet that Faux and ORNN will probably shift gears a bit, and start pushing desperation for Trumpiy. Maybe even trotting Kennedy out as the Trump replacement if something happens and he can't run. I say that pragmatically, and not to insinuate CNN or MSNBC are on the DNC payroll like Fox and OAN are. The GOP has to be running out of Gong Show contestants to put in races at this point. They can't even control their party. The news in general scares its viewers to get them to watch. The orange clown show is entertaining, but remind frequently the ominousness of his hanging around.

CNN is getting a bit sensational with the polls. In PA the other night, 16% voted for Nikki Haley, who has been off the ticker for 2 months already. The polls aren't accurate

There is a price for standing up for Gays, Jews, Minorities and decency. A lot more Americans hold hatred than we ever thought was there...like tens of millions and millions...and they keep repeating the lies, to the point where they are believable. Even commons sense folks who keep hearing the lies over and over again, will have a good chance to vote for Trump. Don't you know? Biden will destroy this country; as Obama tried, and Jimmy Carter was the worse, except for Hillary etc...on and on.
