Unfortunately Sutro lenses will not fit on the Sutro Lite. Oakley typically releases replacement lenses a few months after a new product release.

Would prism help specifically seeing tennis balls or would it mute them out? And is there a colour lens you'd recommend for tennis? And do they distort things like depth of field at all? Thank you!

Hi Akbar! Oakley's Prizm lineup has a lens for just about every sport & activity. For tennis, you do not want to select a polarized lens as this can potentially affect depth perception. The most effective lenses for tracking & spotting a tennis ball are Prizm Field, Trail, or Tungsten. Hope this helps!

Go for the Prizm Sapphire! It might be a bit dark on overcast days, but that Prizm enhancement makes them way better than your typical grey sunglass lens. You can’t go wrong!

Is there a Oakley Sutro Lite “S“ ?

I am pretty hyped bout the standard Sutros and main reason bout planning buying them is mostly for snowboarding and hiking as replacement of my loved Line miners... So my questions is focused on the lenses - are they the same as the snowboard goggles, the Prizm technology is it good enough to see the snow lines easily?

Hi there! Many of the Sutro lenses come with a rose base lens, which is one of the better tint colors when it comes to highlighting snow terrain. This is the main tint used for most of Oakley's goggle lenses as well. Many of the lens options have different VLT levels. Depending on the conditions you ride, you may want a lens with a higher, mid, or low vlt rating. Check out the Prizm 24K (bronze base), Prizm Field, and Prizm Road as viable options for the snow!

I often doing rowing, i know there isn't a polarised lense, which lens would you recommend for the water sport of rowing?

What's the difference between Prizm Road and Prizm Iridium?

Can you guys do a prescription lens for them? Seeing that Oakley can’t, I’m trying to find somewhere to get inserts or prescription lenses for them

Hello! Unfortunately, there is no insert or Rx option for the Sutro series at this time. Sorry bout that!

Questions about sizing: 1) Will Oakley produce a Sutro Lite Small?? I just ordered the Lite because it is currently marked as size "medium" on the Oakley webstore, and measured as 133, but here you say it's the same as the original at 139. I really want the grip on the arm and frameless design, but smaller. 2) How are the Sutro (and other curved frames) usually measured -- straight across, or with the curve (how should I lay the measuring tape -- I was thinking straight across would make more sense in terms of deciding how the frame will actually fit one's face width, but how is it usually done, for example the sizes you're giving here?) thanks again!! :)

We love Unobtainium temples too. The comfort and stability you get with them is hard to go without once you've tried them!

Hi VuDoo! The Sutro was designed for athletes who typically don't benefit from polarization such as cyclists, runners, and baseball players. For this reason, they don't make a polarized lens option for the Sutro frame.

hey, just thinking of buying the Sutro S but I'm not sure if it will stay on during downhill mtb sessions or it can fall off easily. It doesn't have the Unobtanium on the temples like the Radar EV does. Anybody and suggestion? thank you :)

Hi there! The temples are not available as a replacement part yet...Not sure if they ever will be. The grip on the Sutro Lite is embedded into the frame so it would be hard if not impossible to remove the grip and add it to another frame.

No, They are different sizes. The Asian fit will help the frame sit higher on your nose so your cheeks do not hit lenses. The Sutro S is just a smaller version of the Sutro!

No word on that yet, but we're hoping so!

I bought 2 pairs (Road + Trail Prizm lenses), and the coating got f**kd on both, within a few months... I've only ever cleaned them by soaking and rinsing them in cold water... I haven't used any detergents/soaps nor rubbed the lenses.

They are not! The overall width of the 2 models is different in terms of the frame as well as lens size. The Sutro Lite & Sutro Lite Sweep lenses are different but can work in the same frame chassis. However the original Sutro lenses are unto themselves and cannot work with other Sutro models. Hope this helps!

Hi there! If you consider yourself to have a smaller head and have worn smaller size hats or helmets in the past, go with the Sutro S. If you have a more medium/large head then we suggest the Sutro. Hope this helps!

Sutro lite = the old school blade, which I still have and wear (7/10 lens quality). Unfortunately, multiple ear stem replacements

The Blades are iconic! It is known that the temples from that original frame will lose strength over time and crack but Oakley's Omatter frame material has only gotten better and more resistant to such problems over time!
