I knew D, not well but he knew me also. He was at the time a quite and respectful dude. I believe he may have had enemies from my part of town, but he knew I was a civilian and never had a problem with anybody in his part of town I do believe because of him. Congrats D on getting home good luck to your future endeavors!

Let's keep it 100% I was at lil D's 20 birthday party at the Turf club, and it was an event without question. However, the feds was there also, I ordered a margarita and the bartender said "we're not mixing drinks tonight!" All the ingredients were right there, he didn't know how to mix be cause he was a fed. I told my crew to keep their eyes open, we decided to leave as we caravan in Rolls Royce, stretch benz, excalibur, all chauffeur driven. Before we could exit the parking lot, shots rang out, automatic gun fire, the police had the entrance blocked before we could exit, so that tells you they were already there. So to say there wasn't any incident is not true.

I'd like to ask this question why do we praise and label crack dealers as Legends we make them to be such great people because they went to jail and didn't tell anybody is that the measuring stick for greatness in our community I don't know how many of you people remember but I do back then Oakland was a terrible place to be an absolute terrible place to be a lot of people died in those days a lot of people died and I'm not talkin two or three a day I'm talkin 20 30 a month and all around the world in Black communities those days when drug dealers ran rampant through the street and sold drugs is the key point of gentrification today because then no one wanted to move into those areas so the property value was extremely low and once they got rid of all the drug dealers and all of the crime and all of the rape and all of them murder all of the assaults and all of the children being displaced because their parents are on drugs and couldn't or wouldn't take care of them and after the of buildings have been abandoned 20 years people came back bought those buildings cheap and now it's hard for black people to live in those because the property value has risen in those communities look what drugs have done to Detroit and I remember Detroit being a booming booming City look what happened with Harlem Bed Stuy I respect the brother for staying to his code but he's not a hero and that's not what I believe we should label as a legend you're a drug dealer you talk about what you did for the community what did you do you handed out some turkeys around Thanksgiving time because they all do that maybe you gave a bus trip or two in the summertime but in doing that you destroyed a lot of lives you destroyed that community to the point where till this day 2019 people are still feeling that I'm just saying being a rich drug dealer at 20 years old for three years doesn't make you a hero it doesn't make you a legend it just makes you a drug dealer who destroyed lives and communities for 3 years and you went to jail for 28 and for whatever reason Obama let you out 3 years earlier .

My mama used to have an old high school friend that lived off in there and we used to play in the courtyard with all the other badass kids. Felix Mitchell used to ride around in his rolls royce, throwin money and candy out the window. In hindsight, what Felix and Lil D did was tear down the community while giving the people trinkets and things. Obama should've granted clemency to Assata, not Lil D, and he knows that!
